  • The PERFECT slim bifold wallet...almost...IMO
Color: Jet Black 2.0
I've been on the hunt for the perfect compact wallet for a few years and decided it doesn't exist. I think this to be the case for wallets, golf bags, camera bags, etc., because what we are all looking for in those bags is personal and subjective. THIS wallet is the closest I've found to exactly what I've been looking for. I am actually extremely happy with this wallet and have only one minor complaint. It IS, by far, the most compact wallet I've found that still carries 8-10 cards, and has a bill slot and an ID window, AND the price isn't just stupid (ala Bellroy). Here are the features I like: -It folds very flat -A slot for bills and small receipts (but receipts must be folded very small). Just a few bills works best. Not a wad that could choke an elephant. -An ID window that you don't have to wrestle with to remove your license. -Holds 4-5 cards easily in the end sleeve with an easy-access pull tab. Stacking cards vs having individual slots makes this a LOT thinner. In the past, I believe wallets were always designed with individual slots, to protect the magnetic strip. That is probably no longer necessary with the new chip technology. If you need to carry more cards than this, then you're probably not a candidate for a slim wallet. -Room for a couple more cards facing the ID pocket -I keep my AAA card behind my license with no problem and it's logical to keep everything related to driving together. -An easy-access outside card sleeve for 1 or maybe 2 cards. It's pretty tight to keep the card from coming out, so carrying 1 card there is probably the best practice, and how it was designed. -Nice looking leather. Workmanship seems to be pretty good. I had one thread I had to trim, but otherwise it looks good and it was packaged nicely. -The SB brand logo is not intrusive. IMO, huge logos are pretentious. I'd prefer NO logo, but this one is pretty discreet. -It has RFID protection. The negatives: -I wish the bill slot was just a little bit deeper. Currency just barely fits without peeking out and will if you put too many bills or don't get them square in the slot, they will stick out a little. I use cards 99% of the time and only carry cash for emergencies and that odd occasion where some knucklehead business owner doesn't accept credit cards, so this is really minor. The wallet appears to be made this depth to ensure the credit card sleeves are tight, which IS a good thing. Even just 1/4" or 1/2" would make it so the bills aren't flush (at best) with the top of the currency slot. Again, this is my ONLY real complaint and it's FAR from a deal-breaker...just a little bit of a head-scratcher why they didn't make it just a little deeper. -Using a pull tab with a ribbon would make the wallet useless, IF it ever came loose, so hopefully, it is firmly sewn in and won't come loose for years. Some have complained that the pull tab uses a red ribbon. Black would have been better, but you only see it when extracting cards, and it doesn't really show if you push your cards all the way down. -PRICE; At $30, it was the most expensive of all of the wallets I looked at, but the ONLY one that had the exact combination of features i wanted. I looked at some priced at $10, $16 and $20, but either they couldn't hold as many cards, were a money clip or weren't as compact. I would like to have paid less, but it's FAR less expensive than those $80+ Bellroy wallets, that have fewer features and higher prices. SUMMARY: Overall, I am soooo happy with this wallet. I've been searching for a compact wallet with all the features I want like this for years. I have an old wallet from a company named Lizell that went out of business. I had it so long that it finally came apart and this is the first wallet I've had where I don't wish I could still use my Lizell. If you're looking for a wallet with the same features I've been searching for, you'll love this wallet. ... show more

  • High Quality, Slim, and Super Functional
Color: Canyon Red 2.0
This wallet takes up half the space of my previous one. Fits all the card and even the cash I need. Since a lot of restaurants are now charging a percentage if you want to use a card, I've started caring cash again. This wallet makes that easy while still being as thin as possible and minimally wide. The leather is thick and the stitching solid. I hope to get years out of it. Also, the little tab you can pull up on to get your card out is always a point that impress people when they see it. Great wallet for the money. ... show more

  • Buy it
Color: California Desert 2.0
A good product looks simply great, there is room but still comfortable and small California desert stunning color in the pictures it looks a little too orange but a beautiful brown. Quality leather, smooth and pleasant to the touch, the strap works great. The only downside is the coin holder that has no room at all and even in the cash area there is a hole that is too big and the coins fall out... therefore there is no room for coins at all. Buy worth every dollar ... show more

  • Smart Design, Good Quality and Value
Color: Melted Chocolate 2.0
This wallet is not uber slim but it does work well for use in a front pocket (i.e. typically jeans in my case). As well, I wanted a wallet that had a pocket for US bills rather than the money clip or fold-open "wire" clip used with the super compact wallets. RFID protection was a must, and testing this at multiple card readers (mostly gas pumps) has proven that even with an RFID card inserted in an outside "easy access" pocket the protection feature does work. Note that US bills do not fit completely hidden within the currency pocket. About a 1/16 to an 1/8 of an inch does stick up above the internal pocket (but to be clear, not above the outside wallet edge). I'm fine with that as the bill denominations are fully covered when the wallet is opened. In regard to "smell", yes if you place your nose right on the wallet's surface it has something of a shoe polish like smell. That's not unexpected as, of course, leather is tanned with strong chemicals. In the couple of weeks I've used the wallet the color is not rubbing off, nor do my finger pick up any chemical odor from handling the wallet. In regard to leather, yes the wallet appears to be genuine leather of suitable weight. Craftsmanship (stitching) is well crafted with all pockets securely holding my various cards. Presently I carry 6 cards in the wallet in addition to my drivers license. I probably could get 8 cards into the wallet without making it bulge significantly (along with say 6 - 8 US bills). The one feature that is perhaps a bit flimsy is the nylon strap that ejects the cards from one of the two outside pockets. This is a really smart access feature, but over time I expect the strap to fray, or the sewn on leather tab stitching to become damaged by abrasion (i.e. gong in and out of your pocket). But on balance this is a 30 buck wallet so I'm not expecting it will last a lifetime. Rather, in normal use I'd be satisfied with 4 or 5 years service -- or more specifically -- looking at the overall sturdy construction of the wallet my judgment is that it should last a good 5 years, or more. I have the melted chocolate finish with its somewhat jazzy orangey interior finish. To my taste it's a good handsome choice. In sum, a nicely designed and constructed slim wallet at a value price. ... show more

  • Good, slim, traditional wallet
Color: Salted Green 2.0
Love the slim profile and the color scheme of the salted green is very nice. Owned many wallets in my life and this one is by far my favorite 10/10! Only downside is the leather takes a few weeks to break in, at first the wallet was stiff and was hard to put bills in. Other than that this is a perfect wallet in my opinion. ... show more

  • Slim but big enough
Color: Jet Black 2.0
Gave to my son for his birthday and he loved it. The build quality is fantastic, the leather is high grade. There are several CC slots, he found the one external slot and the tab slots very handy. Let's see how it'll hold up as he beats up his wallets pretty bad. Will update more at a later date.
