They arrived quickly, were packaged very well, took a bit of time to assemble but they are beautiful so polished really sturdy and have a modern but classic elegance vibe. My large vintage living room has a u shaped sofa, an small office space and these book cases that house awards candles lights plants and flowers. I purchased 2 chairs that sit in the "nook" and a small table that holds my chess set and other board games for 2. I will finish the space with a wine cooler between the book cases, a record player and art. It's a very cool space. 1 downside the second one I received had a " joining plate" that connects the shelves underneath, 1 plate was not drilled correctly, so I have 1 shelf that really can't have a lot of weight. It would be nice to get the replacement but I do love them. They are just shy of 6 ft tall, fit perfectly in a corner. I've gotten compliments from ever person who has come to visit. I saw the long one they offer also every nice but I love the corner unit. ... show more

We had this on our wedding registry and I would check back often hoping that it would one day be ours! We were finally able to build it when we moved into our new home. It was very time consuming to put together.!! I am going to be transparent and tell you that we were so over putting this thing together that we saved the doors on the cabinets for another time. We just couldn't look at it one more second. It is FOR SURE a two person job. I would recommend having a an electric screwdriver or drill that you can put an allen wrench drill bit in or I may have given up. That being said, it is my favorite thing we have in our home and adds so much beauty and character. We found the perfect spot for it in our living room. It is very large and tall! Overall very happy with this bookshelf. I spent a lot of time trying to find the right bookshelf to fit into my bedroom corner, and this was the perfect one. It's very pretty and stable (definitely secure it to your wall though!). It was pretty easy to assemble; it took a few hours to put together by my self. The only negative was that one set of the gold metal connections didn't fit / alight right, so I had to spent a LOT of time hammering it the metal so it would fit. I would have been able to put it together a lot faster if it weren't for that. Ultimately I'm so happy with how it looks and I smile every time I look at my display! ... show more

I was looking for a corner shelf to add to a desk area and stumbled across this one as I browsed. The gold structure is just gorgeous and simplistic. The quality of materials was superb. It was the perfect addition to the space and fit perfectly. The shelf was relatively easy to assemble as well.
