I use this to try and repair some cracking on the armrest of my Nissan Ultima. I have a black car with all black interior and the problem is the color of this repair tape is not dark enough to match my car. It looks more dark gray than black. Plus it’s very noticeably there because it’s really thick and there’s a definite ledge, where it begins and ends. For it to be effective, it would have to be a true black and much thinner. that being said, so far, the adhesive has been strong and it has stayed in place nicely.

I would highly recommend and purchase again. I have two high back office chairs. I acquired them from a firm going out of business. The only worn areas were the arm rest. Someone recommended this product and it works, very well. The arm rest look good as new; goes on easy and professional looking after repair. The color solid matched my leather chairs very well. Chair in my office at home, fake leather started peeling off where my head hits the top of the chair. The entire patch was put on and even though the patch is a darker color gray, it looks two tone. We have an old Yukon that has seen better days. The seem had begun ripping on the driver’s seat. My husband doesn’t like seat covers because he says that they slip around too much. I found this stuff. It seemed like a good option for the price. If it didn’t work well, I wasn’t going to get made about the lost money. So far, a few weeks in, it has held up. It is obviously there, but it is fine. The car isn’t winning any beauty pageants. But it does a find job keeping the seat from coming apart more and looks a billion times better than duct tape or something.
