I love the look of this candelabra and I understand the reason for the spikes to keep candles from falling over, but if you’re using battery operated candles and not real ones, they don’t sit flush. This has large spikes in the middle of each holder for a real candle. If you, like me, ordered it to use with battery operated candles, you have to figure out a way to fill a 3/4 inch tall gap between the top on the spike and the base of the holder, unless you really love the look of majorly askew candles. I went down a star because one of the candle stands was completely bent down. The box didn't have noticeable damage enough to bend metal. I honestly didn't feel like returning/exchanging. So I used my strength and bent it back as much as I could.

Exactly what I was looking for. Great product for price. It comes with metal prongs so if you are planning to use fake candles keep that in mind. We removed them fairly easily with pliers. All in all very happy!

A little on the more expensive side of some of these available but worth the price! I preferred the clean lines of this base rather than some of the others available. As well as this is the widest one available I could find so it fills the fireplace better. Very sturdy. I’m using for flameless LED candles so I had to remove the pieces intended to hold real candles- I expected I could just used pliers to break it off- think again. I had to break out the bolt cutters. So just be prepared with something if your planning to remove those like it did. ... show more
