The first picture shows the left blind rolled to allow for privacy. The second picture shows both blinds rolled to allow more light in. These blinds are simple in their construction and in my opinion and for my application-PERFECT! I ordered the same blinds only in black so I can change the color out occasionally. This is easy to do. The white is a true white! Not ivory or off-white. All screws and hardware comes with the blinds. Great product! ... show more

I like these: they look nice, they provide some privacy (office double doors with large glass panes) and they can be completely rolled up and out of the way when you want your doorway to really look open. The mechanism to roll up/down is nice and smooth (at least when they are new). Also, there are very few options to cover a 84" tall window. Critical Points: - DO NOT CUT THE CORD. The looped cord is almost as long as the fully extended blind, but you cannot cut the cord. If you do, you will need to repair it: you need the full cord length to fully extend/roll up the blind. -UNDERSTAND THE SIZING: the widths in the listing are the widths of the roller assembly, the blinds are narrower. In my case, my windows were just under 21" and I purchased the 23.6" wide version. However, the blind material is only 22" wide. If I had known this, I probably would have purchased the 25.6" wide version, to block the views at the sides of the windows better. - Don't drop the rod weight out of the blind when you take it out of the box; if you do, you will probably put the rod back into the material incorrectly. If you do this, the material is further away from the door/window (blocks less of the side view) and the blind will not roll up very well. - The looped cord is on the right side of the blind, as you are facing the blind. This means that the cord hangs right next to/on top of the handle of the left-side door of a pair of double doors. Nothing you can really do about that because YOU CAN'T CUT THE CORD. Other Details: - These are not "blackout" and they do not provide total vision-blocking privacy. The material layer closest to the door is still about 1 inch away from the door, and the second layer is an inch or so away from the first layer, so they absolutely let light through and you can see around the edges or in "slits" up toward the ceiling or down toward the floor (depending on exactly how you align the two layers of material). - The little plastic holder used to pull the cord straight and keep it from flopping around against the door when you open and close the door is functional but just a simple piece of clear plastic that, due to the orientation of the mounting hole, makes the cord do a 90deg twist from top to bottom (not so easy to describe, but at the blind mechanism/at the top, the loop is on a pulley perpendicular to the door, but the little holder at the bottom of the cord has a "pulley" which is "parallel" to the door). It annoys me and I don't like it, I'll have to come up with something else. ... show more

Easy to install and looks great on my patio door. It was hard to find a blind that is long enough to fit. It’s light and thin enough that it doesn’t interfere with the operation on the door knob. I am happy to recommend this product!

This is a great alternative to the metal French door blinds. It’s nice and lightweight, elegant looking. easy to install and operates well! there is only one in a box!!! Four and in expensive blind, these are pretty good. Understanding that they are not a high-end customized blind, they do the job well, and are pretty easy to install. The one thing to be very careful of is do not drop them when you are installing because they can hit the floor and come apart easily. That happened to one of them as I was installing it (my stupidity for letting it fall). I don't want to say that it's fragile but it's not a super durable blind. Once installed they are great and I love the idea that it is to panels of material next to each other instead of a typical mini blind where you have multiple "blade type" material that is a pain in the neck to clean the dust off of. These are actually really simple for a cleaning because all you do is take your duster and put it between the two panels while you open and close the blind a little bit and completely cleans the inside. They are great in the sense that you can have privacy, but still but light through and also based on how you adjust them, you can also still see outside but maintain privacy. For the price they're a decent blind, but I understand that you are not getting a super heavy duty product. Overall, I am quite pleased with them, and for the purpose I needed them for, they worked out great. ... show more
