**If you are wrapping sensitive electronics (anything with a hard drive or CPU in it), see my note at the bottom** I first purchased the 350' x 3/16" bubble wrap from these guys 6 months ago to start packing up my elderly mom's home of 30 years. Now I'm getting to the bigger stuff, so need bigger bubbles. Just got the roll of 175' x 1/2" bubble wrap and am glad I went with the same business who provided me with a good product at a great price. THE ONLY time I bought bubble wrap from elsewhere they put the roll into a thin, cheap plastic bag like you'd see the cleaning staff putting in an office wastebasket, and slapped a shipping lable on it. Lame! Not with this seller. They stuck the rolls one on top of the other and then wrapped in a strong plastic shrink-like wrapping I've seen pros do. When I saw the rolls on my doorstep my first thought was that they accidentlly sent one 24" wide roll instead of 2 x 12" wide rolls. Nope, just packaged really well. Thank you! I'm packing everything imaginable from dishes to housewares, tools to electronics, and so on. Both the 3/16' and 1/2" sheets tear at the perforation where it should. I have to be careful and not get in too big of a hurry with the 3/16" bubbles or it will start to rip. That's on me. I always have knife/scissors near when working, so its no big deal to use a straight edge to get it started at the edge when separating sheets. These 1/2" bubbles are tougher and should hold up well to the abuse I'm about to put them through with the bigger and heavier stuff. I'm be doing the move in the next few weeks (god help me!), so if things don't go well with the rolls of wrap I'll post an update accordingly. ** If you are packing/shipping electronics, you need to buy the PINK Anti-Static type of bubble wrap - NOT the Red stuff. Regular plastic wrap can build up static electicity really fast when it's moving around and rubbing. If it goes to ground and zaps your precious electronics/gadgets, bad things will happen. I was an IT Pro and built hundreds of computers. Ive seen the types of problems static discharge and very small amounts of electricity causes, and you are better off paying the extra to get the PINK Anti-static kind (and NOT the RED STUFF! It isn't anti-static).

I am NOT HAPPY happy at all with this product and would not buy it again. Firstly, there are NO PERFORATIONS. I kid you not. EVERY SINGLE FOOT of each roll there is a row of FLATTENED BUBBLES, not perforations, unlike professionally-made bubble wrap. Look at my photo with the red arrows showing their "perforations!" I've used bubble wrap for years, always preferring perforations, and never, ever have I come across this! Secondly, each roll is taped closed with one long piece of tape ruining atleast 1 to 2 feet of each roll - see my other photo - why not use a SMALL piece of tape or a rubber band? Very, very unhappy. I can't return as I have a shipment going out today and need bubble wrap.

The bubble cushioning wrap I received as sold by ABB is the "limited grade" bubble wrap as made by Sealed Air. It is NOT their own brand. They are a distributor and they choose to sell SA's "limited" grade which is a frosted, soft bubble that pops easily. Many, many double rows of broken bubbles at the "supposed" perforation. It tears at very poorly at the 12" perf. Fine I guess for void fill for the lightest of items but not a good quality bubble needed for fragile, glass or heavy items which is what I ship the most. ABB should list the manufacturer as "Sealed Air" and the grade of "Limited" in their Amazon listings so that buyer's know what quality of bubble they are going to receive. By not disclosing Sealed Air under manufacturer, ABB lends itself to appear to be the manufacturer. They are not. The manufacturer of Sealed Air will have "Sealed Air" inside the cardboard tube and SA was inside the tube of the order I received. Unfortunately, the "grade of bubble" is not disclosed inside the tube, nor in the Amazon listing by ABB. It was; however, disclosed on the ABB paper label "Limited" that came with the package. As a shipper of glassware and fragile items, I cannot recommend this bubble wrap. The issue isn't the manufacturer of Sealed Air. SA makes three grades of bubble wrap. "Multi-purpose" grade is the middle grade and it works fine for fragile and glassware. It's the "limited" grade that ABB distributes and sent me (I know my bubble wrap and the "limited" grade was on the label) that is the issue. Note: ABB chose NOT to send the bubble wrap in a Sealed Air bag as I would receive from other distributors. Limited grade might be fine for some shippers but not for all. Especially, shippers of fragile and glassware items. Amazon please have sellers of bubble cushioning disclose the Manufacturer AND Grade of bubble they sell. It would be helpful to consumers to know what they can expect BEFORE they make their purchase.
