Liking the desk and the look, definitely recommend it if you are considering it. I have 2 laptops and have plenty of room for more should I require it. -Looks: 4.5/5, looks great, love the color and has a nice quality look to it. -Assembly: 4/5, assembly took longer than I hoped, but that was partly due to me not paying attention to the placements of the holes on the metal frame, be careful and double check the metal poles are facing the correct way before screwing them in as some of the "identical" parts actually have more holes that are used for connecting other parts and need to be facing a certain way. However, there are some tricky parts that take patience, someone to hold boards/poles in place for you and the video setting with flash in order to see how the holes should line up. And remember, don't fully screw anything until you have that whole section done, then screw them in a little at a time and alternate from adjacent corners. -Quality: 4/5, feels sturdy enough for a home desk, looks nice when put together. One minor issue is the the two large boards did not connect flushly and makes it slightly crooked (one side is slightly raised), not very noticeable and has not impacted the quality of the desk. RGB light strip: 3/5, I like the actual lights, they look great, I just have not actually set them up because the cord is too short to reach the wall socket and have it taped under the shelf compartment of the desk. An extension cord will do the trick, or you can connect them to your laptop/desktop since it has a USB connector. But that's a minor issue, I did not buy the desk for the RGB lights. ... show more

I bought two of these desks to set up adjacent to each other. They feel sturdy and heavy duty, even though they're not made of solid wood. The black ones are quite nice. Pros: -Just like pictured. -Easy to assemble, but will take you a solid 60-90 minutes per desk even if you're experienced. -Adjustable feet for height -Very well packaged - I didn't notice any damage Cons: -Takes a long time to assemble Tip: If you tighten everything by hand with the provided L wrench, it'll take forever. Grab a power drill with the right bit and use that to tighten the screws, and you'll end up saving a TON of time. I wouldn't tighten it all the way with the drill, just enough so that you can hand tighten the rest. Also make sure you pay attention to the screw types using a long one instead of a short one could end up in breaking a piece of the desk top. I would totally buy again. Love the desk, it looks exactly like the pictures and came a lot quicker than original estimates (originally said it was coming mid-September, but it arrived Aug 27). Desk is sturdy, clean, and the instructions weren’t hard to follow. Everything came together in about an hour and was easy enough for me to do alone. The only issue is that two parts of the desk were loose. In the picture is one of the parts that go in the feet of the desk so it doesn’t scrape the floor, which was loose and fell out right out of the box. The other part wasn’t as easily photographed, where one of the screw anchors that anchors the wooden desk top to the frame was loose, so the entire screw is loose. Neither compromises the sturdiness of the desk for me, and I was excited for the arrival of a much needed desk that I decided to forgo returning it because of those two pieces, but it’s just something to be aware of. Love the desk though, it serves its purpose well. ... show more

I saw a lot of reviews talking about missing/damaged parts, hard to read instructions, and how it takes 2 people to assemble… I put this together by myself in under 2 hours. 30 minutes of that was because my ditzy self put 14 in the back instead of 13 & I had to take the whole top piece off… but anyway, let’s say an hour & a half. There is one piece you can see there that’s a little off, but not a deal breaker. Instructions are pictures which are WAY better than words for assembling furniture and nothing was damaged or missing. I’m a full time working mom of 3 teenagers, I’m average to small size & I do not work out. It maybe takes an inkling of upper body strength for a moment, but the only thing a second person could have helped with was picking up the Allen key every time I dropped it.. lol. Overall, I love it. I’m super excited to set it up for my home office now! I’ll update if the sturdiness, etc. goes to crap. No update means I’m still lovin’ it! (and no, there were no incentives for writing this review - just wanted people to not look deep into the silly bad reviews). ... show more
