    • It's a table that gets by
I'm not going to say it's the best out there nor the worst. For what I paid, it's pretty decent, especially all things considered like quality and features. First, let us start with the materials. It is some type of metal, as for what type, it is not steel, so most likely some type of aluminum. The boards/woods is some type of particle/compressed wood type. For the lighter things, it will hold up just fine, but if you plan on putting more heavier objects or a bit of force on the center, I feel it may not support and give out instead. The upper monitor stand is fine for what it is. The middle one too where your keyboard and mouse and other accessories would go. As for the bottom piece. I would not recommend anything going here. It's a kind of flimsy board from where you can rest your feet at, but would not advise to put anything on it, due to only support coming from the wooden pegs and screws holding on to the four corners. If you're not careful during installation, you could easily strip and destroy the holes made for the screws. So take your time. You can do most of it by yourself, but the beginning, you definitely need two people to tackle both sides. If not, you risk damaging the boards, which will make the rest of it even harder. The only good thing that I can say is for the optional features. The headphone holder and drink holder, screw into the wooden board but into metal/bolt reinforced holes. Meaning less chance of the screws coming loose. Also, I recommend a 32 oz. hydro flask or similar container. It fits it snugly and being attached to a metal bolt does make it feel safer. Of course, I'm sure after enough time, the cup holder may sag if your flask is always full. I keep mine with water. Got to stay hydrated for the long streams. As for the center piece that contains that power outlet thing, I'm not a huge fan of it. Instead, I only use it to supply power to the LED's that I mount to the underside to give light to my keyboard and mice. Also, to power the tiny little incandescent lamp I have to the side. I have all my precious electronics plugged into a Belkin powerstrip that includes the featues of powerarrest, so that in the event of a power out, brown out, black out, or something weird with the power, it has a less of a chance of adversely affecting my stuff. Final things, the metal brace in the back, I ziptied them together because if you bump into, it causes it to rattle, which is most unpleasant. After being tied together, they more or less hum, and after using it to guide the cables to my computer, almost no noise is heard. If you can help to brace the center pieces, and add customization to it, I believe it to be a very flexible "gaming" desk. Only thing I would highly recommend me is to either sand the edges so they are smoother, or add something to prevent it from digging into you. Also, clean with something that won't leave behind dust or lint, and maybe apply some type of additional protectant. ... show more

Its not a bad desk. Its sturdy and easy for one person to assemble. I like the headset hanger and the cup holder so I can keep my drinks off my desk. There is enough room for a nice long mouse pad. The monitor riser is at a nice height, but fitting both my monitors on it is a bit tight. The shelf at the bottom makes a good place for a small sub, and its a decent footrest, but it is a fairly flexible board, so I try to avoid using it like that so it doesnt wear out. I have a few complaints about it. Nothing too major. Fitstly, its a bit tall. I'm about 6' tall (183cm), and even with my chair at its tallest setting, the desk height feels a bit too tall for my arms. Do not buy this for a shorter person. Secondly, the plugs, while useful, are in an awkward spot. In order to plug anything into it, you need to have cables draping across the desk. You can tuck them to one side or the other, but anything with an adapter will stick out into the space where you'll want to have your keyboard. Lastly, the edges of the desk are squared off, not rounded. Your arms will hang a little "heavier" on this thing, given its height, so if you have your arm in the same spot too long you'll end up getting indents on your arms. All in all, for the price, this desk is decent, but there are probably more ergonomic options for around the same price. ... show more

I've purchased the product to replace my current table for the PC that I bought recently. I don't generally write review but I will write my opinion for those who are looking to purchase the product. Thing that I like: - Overall design of the desk. - Desk is wide enough to hold all of my random items I put on it. - The desk have underneath shelf (that I use for foot stool). I know it is bad habit and I could buy separate stool for it but I honestly didn't want to so this was better option for me. - I got this desk not too long ago so I can't say how well it will last for wear and tear but so far so good. - The customer service was great. The desk that I received didn't come with correct screw for headphones and cup holder. So I've emailed the company and they resend the screws and gave me a tracking number. Things I didn't like: - The wood they use are compress wood and the company give you screw to widen the holes for desk. I don't think the holes will not be secured enough for the screw if you were to move and need to disassemble and reassemble the desk. - From the pictures shown of the desk, I did not realize there was a metal rod running across horizontally underneath. I have purchased the desktop keyboard tray to install only to refund because the metal rod is on the way so I couldn't. - I saw that the desk came with PC tower holder but I didn't look at the size of the item. This item is too small to hold any regular size tower that I could not possibly use it so that was little bit disappointing. - The holes for bottom shelf was almost impossible to screw in since they were not aligned properly. After long time and frustration later, I had fitted most of it but gave up using all of the screw because if I were to do that, I would have had to make another hole. I know I've had more negative than positive thoughts but I still do like it overall. I got this desk for my boyfriend for his birthday. He seems to really enjoy it. It's a good size and he really likes having his monitor higher up as opposed to his old desk where it was one surface. It wasn't too difficult to put together with the two of us. I want to say it took an hour or two. The light strip is cool too but I wish you could connect your phone's normal music to it. ... show more
