If you travel, you NEED this. If you don't travel, this is a cute and functional bag that will easily replace your purse. Cons: none. Pros: • Very roomy without being bulky! • RFID theft blocking in several pockets and areas of the bag. • The ID / cash part is located on the part of the bag that sits against your back instead of the front, making it more secure. There are several card slots and 2 zipper sections. (I used one for coins, and 1 for my passport.) • Zippers move easily and clip to rings on the bag so they cannot be easily opened. • There is one non-secure pocket for quick access items. • Reinforced place for your charging cord to connect to your phone so your charging block can stay in your bag. • Holds a lot without being cumbersome. • Straps are comfortable and easily adjustable so you can change the length. • Spills wipe clean easily. (Note: this is available in several colors, but I bought a darker color with print to help hide dirt...) • Well constructed, quality materials. Overall, this is such a useful travel bag. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I love this backpack! The size is perfect when you have to carry a few unusual things, but it's not a bulky backpack for text books. I use it for my public transportation commute to work. It will hold a small lunch and water bottle, umbrella, kindle, small headphones, glasses case- holds the same as a large purse, but remains very lightweight. It has two outside side pockets, which is were I keep my glasses and umbrella when needed. There is a nice zippered area situated to be close to your back so that no one can get to it. It has slots for 6 cards, and a zippered coin/bill pouch. My phone will fit in there if I don't plan on using it. All the different zippered areas can be secured by interlocking clips. They aren't locks, but if someone was playing with them, you'd know. The straps are very sturdy, as apparently they are reinforced with some cable for security. This is so handy that I've practically stopped carrying a purse, even on weekends. I'm 5'3" and it covers maybe half my back, but again, it's so lightweight, I don't even notice I'm wearing it. This is a very stylish bag for a woman. I got the dark navy and I love the color. I like that it is bigger than a backpack "purse"; it is the perfect size for my travel needs. The straps are not padded, but that is not necessary since it is a smaller bag. IMO, the thinner straps make it more aesthetically pleasing. I really like that the wallet is on the side of the backpack that sits on my back. The wallet location is very secure from any tampering by its position, along with the safety fasteners that make it pickpocket proof. FYI- the side pockets will hold a 16 ounce or 17 ounce/ 500 ml water bottle that is 2.6" or less in diameter. Havent used this on the trail yet. But a friend gave it high praise- so I ordered this. and I love the size. It is well designed with one large, roomy zip pocket, and two other zip pockets. Plus 2 water bottle holders, and a private zip compartment resting against your back for wallet, cash, passport, etc. Zippers have easy to use anti theft feature. Altho small, 12 Liter, I can pack ALOT in to this light weight bag- My water bottle, leaving an extra sleeve for snacks or misc. In the lrg compartment, I can fit a med/heavy weight fleece jacket plus a hip length rain coat, with a little room to spare. Two more, smaller, zip compartments. Well designed bag, and Im impressed. With little bulk and light weight, you can carry alot- Im using this for my day pack as I hike Glacier Park. (Remember, the bigger your bag, the more stuff you will carry!)
