  • I liked it enough to buy more
Color: Red Style: 35 Liter
Bought it during a sale that made it worth the extra $ to purchase a name brand. The manufacturer on their website admits that of the three basic drybags that they offer, this is in the middle for weight and durability. As for being waterproof, the manufacturer states this: "The body of the dry bag is waterproof (10,000 mm hydrostatic head). However, avoid submersion since water can seep through the roll-top closure of any dry bag." I don't plan on submersing the product as I bought it to be used as a liner for my back pack to hold my sleeping quilts and extra clothing. I didn't realize it when I ordered the product but it has a white interior. This is really nice if you plan on putting small items in it as it makes the interior more visible. Regarding durability, the product has a lifetime warranty against defects. Recently I had to deal with Sea to Summit's customer service for a different item that I purchased. The customer service attention to the issue was outstanding. Email replies did take a couple of days, but the issue was resolved above and beyond expectations. Granted warranty against defects *DOES NOT* include issues resulting from normal wear and tear and misuse, but I wouldn't expect such a warranty. As a result of the customer service, I took advantage of their Black Friday pricing and bought two more drybags of different colors & sizes. (I bought the ultra-sil instead of the lightweight version this time.) They should arrive in a couple days. I own a few Sea to Summit products and when the price is right, I will choose them over the cheaper questionable brands. Their pricing is such that for most of their products, I would not pay full price. ... show more

  • Thin and light weight
Color: Yellow Style: 13 Liter
There’s a gray packable dry bag that’s very light and pretty thin. I use it when I go paddle boarding and so far it’s held up. I’m a little bit worried with health in the fabric is that so far so good?

  • Nice lightweight dry sack, use for bear bag
Color: Red Style: 8 Liter
This is a high quality and lightweight dry sack. It’s great for backpacking, and I use it as a bear bag in camp. I wouldn’t use this for whitewater rafting or any activity where it would get really beat up (there are much thicker dry sacks available for those use cases). But this one is perfect for camping. Use for wet clothes, or as a bear bag. ... show more

  • Water resistant, not proof
Color: Red Style: 13 Liter
I used this bag as an external storage bag for food on a long hike. We also used it to hang our food at night. Worked fine for this, and the water resistance was put to the test during a ridiculously bad rainstorm that lasted several hours. While the interior contents were damp, the bag did at least keep the book of the water from getting inside the bag. Use a second layer of protection like I did if water proofness is paramount. Bag is very lightweight. ... show more

  • Send it!
Color: Pacific Blue Style: 13 Liter
I purchase multiple sea to summit bags for my 2020 Thru Hike of the AT. These bags were awesome and I never had one instance of water inside my bag from Georgia to Maine. I did take extra precautions by using a contactor bag to line my pack as well. I had two 13 liter bags, and an 8 liter bag. I used one 13L for sleeping gear (it easily fit a 0 degree down enlightened equipment quilt, thermarest bag liner and an inflatable pillow). The second 13L was my food bag. I was able to fit around 5 days worth of food, but it was a bit of a squeeze. Once on trail I purchased an additional 4L sea to summit bag to hold overflow food. I ended up keeping this bag on the outside of my pack and I kept my snacks, and lunch for the day in it so I didn't have to dig through my pack or my food bag during the day. I needed the extra bag to get all of my food/smellables to hang it every night. **I purchased the 4L bag from an outfitter on trail, it held up pretty good, but did not last the entire trip. It was made from sea to summit's ultralight material (a much thinner material than this product) and it developed a slice in the material. Eventually a mouse chewed through it and got to my food - I always hung my bags** I would probably get a different bag or a slightly larger bag if I were going to thru hike for a stretch that long again for my food. I used the 8L bag for my clothing. As I am a petite woman, my clothes didn't take up too much space, but during my winter hiking months it fit my puffy, long sleeve sleep shirt, merino wool pants, spare pair of underwear, two set of darn tough socks and two sets of sock liners. I have seen people wash and dry these bags in machines with no issues. These will continue to be my go to dry sacks. ... show more

  • Great for Canoe Trip
Color: Yellow Style: 35 Liter
Used inside a backpack on a 7-day whitewater canoe trip. It kept my gear dry through rapids and two days of rain. Recommend to go inside another bag to organize and keep gear dry as it isn't durable enough on its own. No issues on the trip where it did see some abuse.
