I wasn’t sure if these would work for the job I was doing; now I wish I’d known about them sooner.. I have no experience with building fences but the fence in my backyard was pretty much useless& falling down. The ground was muddy & I didn’t want to pour cement or anything- my budget for this project was pretty much zero dollars lol! I needed a cheap, sturdy-ish fence to separate my dogs from a certain part of the yard. After drying out the salvageable wood posts, I sealed them to keep out as much moisture as possible. (at this point, I still didn’t know I’d be needing these.) I found a temporary fence/fence panels made of black galvanized steel wire & a few T-posts (purchased off Amazon as well) with the intent to install it like a permanent fence. I then used a mallet & a metal baseball bat to pound the posts as deep into the ground as I could, they still weren't sturdy. That’s when I ordered these, got them the same day, I put them as close as I could to the posts & used the tool included in the box to hammer them down, drilled them into the wood as shown in the very clear & concise instructions, & for the metal T-posts i used metal zip ties to attach them, which worked surprisingly well! I pushed on the posts, expecting them to move a little, but those things didn’t budge. I even (out of curiosity) told my 6’2 tall & athletic,16-year-old son that if he could pull out a post, I’d give him 50 bucks. Again, didn’t budge! From there I used some various hardware that I had laying around from other projects, & attached fence to the posts, creating a pretty damn secure fence. I know, it’s not that pretty but it’s a huge improvement from what was there before ! To say that these exceeded my expectations would be an huge understatement. The crappy little fence that I set up in a day, holds up to my two 75pound pit bulls throwing the full weight of their bodies against it all day(even after it rained for over a week!) when they’re chasing squirrels. I guarantee Any negative reviews are 100% user error. Find out the best method for your project, and with a little effort & possibly some creativity, , this product is 100% flawless for what it is made for!!!

After spending way too long building a bamboo privacy fence from scratch I didn’t want to risk the posts snapping. These stakes were perfect for adding additional support. The included tool for driving in the stakes were sub par, however. It bent on the first strike with a rubber mallet. Would have rated 4.5 stars if I had that option.

The post stakes works great but there are a few issues with this product. First, you don't get enough screws to use for all of the stakes depending on where you need to the stakes on your board so we had to go out and purchase an additional set of screws to finish our project. Second, is the red tool used to hammer the stakes in the ground is very flimsy and didn't hold up to being able to pound all the stakes in the ground so we had a difficult time scrambling to find something to use to finish our project. How we used the stakes: In regards to the stakes themselves, we used the stakes to put 2x4 pieces of wood in the ground to create a fence and they work great. They are very sturdy and go into the ground fairly easy due to the spike at the end. Four of the stakes were used to create the posts that hold the fence gate and they have held up great! I would purchase from this seller again due to the high quality of the stakes, but we caution that you may have to purchase additional screws and something more durable to pound the stakes in the ground. All in all, I am looking for a high quality stake that will last. At the time of this review, it has been over a month and they have held up great!

Id say its a fair price for the quality. But these are rather flimsy. I found myself doubling up on them to do what I needed. Easy to use, well placed screw holes though.
