I used this blanket at the beach, watching fireworks and for a picnic. Very comfortable to sit and lay on. It is a lovely blanket I will use again and again. Only one issue I had and that was when it came time to clean. I could not shake all the sand out given my height so I put it in the dryer (after I shook it) to get the remaining sand out. Other than my dryer being full of sand (duh) the sand came right out (used a shop vac to get the sand out of dryer). I have also since rinsed it on a gentle cycle cold in my washer (kids got ketchup on it) and hung to dry. Washed up perfectly clean (ketchup stain gone), but unfortunately with all the tumbling the Velcro attached elsewhere pulling the fibers from the blanket. The blanket is still 100% usable but now just has a few threads pulled. Lovely blanket just wasn’t the easiest to for me to clean. ... show more

The quality of this blanket is great. It isn’t scratchy or itching but instead comfortable. The backing does a great job keeping the dust and dirt off. We have used over and over again for picnics, soccer games, and just fun outside. It is not easy to fold back up though. I bought this for a 3 day music festival and one night it rained the whole time and was a muddy mess. If we didn’t have this blanket we would have been miserable! It’s efficient and comfortable, I use it in the park for my solo picnics and people watching me time and I have fallen asleep on this thing. It’s easy to pack/refold because the lines are there. Trust if I refolded it anyone can cause I’m slow as hell. #recommend

Came across product again while looking for a replacement blanket. I originally bought it Jan 31, 2020 and was not paid for my review, so I have actual experience with the product. It really isn't water resistant in any way. When using it on grass with a bit of dew, the water goes right on through & I got a big mold spot in the blanket because I didn't unpack it to let it dry when I got home. The velcro fastener has weakened over time, and is not nearly as good as it used to be. The velcro also caused cosmetic damage to the fabric when washing the blanket.
