The media could not be loaded. I’m a male RN and I recently transferred to the ICU. I’ve been a nurse for decades but was not prepared for how cold they keep it there. As a male, I don’t typically have a problem with it being a little cool and I’m not really sensitive to temperature fluctuations like my female coworkers. But since the move I have found it almost necessary to keep a jacket for the times when things are maybe a little more relaxed and you aren’t running as much. So when I saw this jacket, it thought I would order it and give it a shot. Normally, I don’t have good luck when I order clothing on line, it’s most often too small or fits uncomfortably in the wrong places. So when I was actually able to try this on, I was pleasantly surprised how well it fit to my liking. In the past, when I tried on a mans nursing jacket, they were too long, tapered weirdly, and the collars were too big like from the 70’s, and had a split in the bag making me look like I was wearing a tux with tails. Weird. So this jacket, has a fuller, shorter, cleaner, and more modern look. It has a fuller cut all the way around, and especially in the shoulder and arms where I am particularly thick and it makes the jacket hang comfortably and has sort of a straight cut in the abdomen so it hangs straighter from my shoulders to the waist giving my profile cleaner lines, imo. The waist is the perfect length for my height, which is 5’4”, so it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing a bed sheet. The sleeves have elastic ribbed cuffs which are comfortable and keep the sleeves off your hands when you are working with your patient. The collar is straight, about 2 inches thick, and the zipper goes all the way up so you can flip it up and close it around your neck for extra coverage and warmth. There are pockets at the front for your hands, and a pocket at the left breast with an elastic loop above it so you can put the bell of your stethoscope in it so you can wear your stethoscope for an extended period of time while holding it in place and taking the pressure off of your neck. Although this is marketed as a man’s jacket, it zips on the left, which is typically a feature of a woman’s garment. But, it fits me perfectly, feels and looks great, it’s functional, and did I mention the fabric is stretchy? If you know anything about nursing and all the stooping, bending, and stretching that goes along with patient care, you will know what an absolute game changer that has been as far as nursling attire is concerned. This is an excellent jacket as far as my likes and needs, and I will definitely be ordering another one and will keep this brand in mind for future purchases.

This Cozyfit scrub jacket is pretty nice overall. Although marketed as a men’s jacket I got this for myself (a woman) as I notice that the ladies scrubs these days are getting more and more fitted and look like you’re going to the club versus work. And that ain’t my look. I prefer a more loose style. For sizing reference I am a 5’6 205ish pound woman and I purchased a size large which was just right for me. See photos for an idea. Material on this is not what most scrubs are these days. It feels more cotton like than the stretchy athletic type most scrubs are going to. Not that I particularly mind that just something to note. It does have stretchy cuffs around the wrist which is great so you don’t get any body fluids on them doing patient care-you can roll them up a bit and they stay put which is awesome! The rest of the jacket has no stretch. Overall a pretty nice jacket. Can’t say it’s my favorite one, but who knows it might grow on me with time! There are multiple pockets even a zip one on the arm so it does certainly have some nice features. Just not sold yet on the zero stretch; it would be nice to have a little in my opinion. It also does come nicely packaged and would be very suitable for gift giving. Overall I’d recommend this product if you’d like a non stretch, professional looking work jacket 👍

I wanted to try this zip front scrub jacket in an office setting even though I work outside of healthcare. The fabric is a polyester, rayon, and spandex blend that feels about as thin as a standard dress shirt. For its intended purpose in temperature controlled hospitals and clinics, that weight makes sense. It breathes well and has enough stretch to stay comfortable through a full day of wear. Expecting outerwear thickness from a medical layer would be unfair to the design. The five pocket layout is genuinely useful. The chest pocket, left patch pocket, right double layer patch pocket, and zippered sleeve pocket give plenty of organized storage for pens, badges, small tools, or a phone. The rib knit cuffs hold sleeves in place without feeling tight, and the H shaped back panel creates a slim silhouette that looks clean and professional. Sizing ran true for me with no surprises. The full zip makes it easy to throw on or remove quickly, which I can see being valuable during busy shifts. My one complaint is that the front patch pockets have visible stitching that clearly outlines their shape on the jacket face. This gives it an unmistakably medical uniform appearance, which limits crossover appeal for casual or office use. If you work in healthcare, that is a not an issue. For anyone hoping to wear this as a general lightweight jacket, the pocket styling will look out of place. Nurses, doctors, and clinic staff will find this a solid, comfortable, well organized scrub jacket at a fair value.

I ordered the CozyFit Men's Scrub Jacket for two reasons; I needed a lightweight jacket, and the Royal Blue color matches my grandson's club baseball team's uniforms perfectly. :) It arrived a few days and it meets both metrics perfectly. The jacket is very lightweight and will be great for cool evenings, assuming we actually have some in SoCal in the relatively near future. The fit is great as well. Not too tight nor overly baggy. Being that it is a scrub jacket, it has a number of pockets without being gawdy. One issue though is the zipper is awkward and rather cheap. The zipper itself is reverse to what I'm used to. All my jackets have had the zipper latch/doohickey on the right side whereas this one is on the left. Just a bit awkward as I mentioned. But also, it just seems cheap and easily messed up. In fact, the first time I zipped it up it got off track. And no, not user error. Overall, a nice lightweight and casual jacket for the evening.
