Update: the company reached out to me and gave me a refund and let me keep the book. I’m changing my review because I love the book it is sturdy and in amazing condition. I can’t wait to make my scrap book My box arrived opened and was missing everything, but the book.

This is a review of Scrapbook photo album. This is my first scrapbook so I don’t have much to compare it against. Overall it seems that the manufacturing quality is generally pretty good. Everything seems to be of pretty good quality. Make sure the colors and stickers are what you want. I would have liked to have more “adult” colors, stickers, etc. But the product is as advertised so that’s on me. Pages are exactly 8 x 11 but useable space is about 8 x 10.5 inches due to the binding. I tried to add a standard 8-1/2 x 11 page and it wouldn't fit. I had to trim it to fit. The stencils had a number of items that didn’t cut out completely so I had to press out the pieces that weren’t removed. Not a big deal, and they all came out easily, just be sure your graphic is completely cut out before you use it. Otherwise, the stencils are very good. They are a thin plastic material and I didn’t have any bleed through under the stencils when I tried using them. The pens work surprisingly well and look good on the flat black pages. The colors really stand out and the 10 colors seem like a good selection. The colors include gray, silver, brown, gold, sky blue, purple, light red, white, and two shades of green. All but the gray have excellent contrast against the black pages. I put a page together out of order so I took the binding apart. I was able to get it apart fairly easily, but I’m not sure it’s going to go back together real well. The binding is wire and I think I bent it, perhaps irreparably. But again, that’s on me. If I had paid more attention to what I was doing, planned better, and not disassembled the binding, everything would be just fine. The cover is thick, stiff cardboard covered with a layer of black paper. I’ve seen this material, or something much like it, in the past and found that if it gets bent, it actually breaks, so take care not to abuse the book. Overall, I think this is a perfectly good product, particularly for someone who is attracted to colorful hearts, stars, diamonds, and bright photo corner mounts.
