    • DO NOT BUY! Unreliable, disconnects, inconsistent.

Disappointing purchase. I do not recommend buying the Scosche Rhythm2. I am an avid runner and for the past two months, I've used this every day on my Peloton Tread+, averaging 30-45 minutes during a mix of runs, strength workouts, and stretches. It has never consistently tracked my heart rate because it disconnects numerous times during a workout. It doesn't matter where I wear the Scosche or how tight or loose the strap is secured, but it loses sync with the Peloton and stops reading my heart rate and recording output. When this happens, I've noticed that the 2 of 3 green lights on the inside of the Scosche that normally blink stop working. The only solution that I found that works is to turn off the Scosche, wait for 10 seconds, and turn it back on. Most of the time the Peloton will find and pair with the Scosche again and continue to work, but I've lost approximately one minute's worth of data each time it happens. This is terribly inconvenient when you're in the middle of a run and you have to turn off and on the Scosche to reconnect it for it to only happen again during the same run. I've given up on this product and regret buying it. My advice is to buy a different heart rate monitor. ... show more

I bought this product because I felt that my Samsung watch was giving me terrible heart rate measures. In general I felt it performed well. After almost 6 months stopped working it would take a charge, but it would not work. The buttons were non-functional. Although I did get the 2-year protection plan, I didn't need it because this was still within the manufacturer's warranty. I mailed the old one back to them and they sent me a new one within a week. My only real gripe with this product is that the initial Bluetooth connection to Samsung health does not work properly. I'm a active, fitness oriented individual who's used a variety of different HR monitors in the past and the Scosche models are great. Despite the problems others have had, this paired flawlessly with my android Samsung Galaxy S8+ using ANT+. I've owned two of Scosche's HR monitors in the past and I've really liked them. They were simple, easy to use, and paired easily with a variety of Android devices. The elastic/fabric bands are also perfect for working out as they dry quickly and don't hold onto bacteria like the plastic/rubber bands do. The Rhythm 24 is definitely an improvement over the older models (with no pairing issues on Samsung S8+). The addition of a larger, raised power button and the charge indicator lights is great. Also, this is much more accurate than their previous models. I use the Pulsometer app (Google Play) for measuring my heart rate and HRV/HHVs during my frequent workouts and this never missed a beat. Works great for tracking HRV, occasional synching problems but nothing too crazy. Using this monitor for workouts isn’t great. It’s constantly losing my HR, needing a restart. Half the time when I press the workout record button that’s enough to disrupt the HR monitor requiring a restart. Working out with resistance bands also causes enough of a jostle to the monitor to disrupt the HR feature. If you are interested in a decent HRV monitor this is it. ... show more

I decided to replace my older pulse monitors - made by another vendor with the Schosche. It took me a bit to figure out how to make it connect with the Zwift app I wanted it for. The answer is try connecting directly from the app instead of adding to bluetooth in the iPad settings. I can pair simultaneously with a Wahoo Element GPS Bike computer so both Zwift and the Element get the heart rate info. Very pleased with the device. It doesn't look like it will have the strap break off the arm pulse monitor the way it did for me on the device made by the other vendor. Scosche sells a couple of heart rate monitors and they don't make it entirely clear how to choose between them - I am happy with this choice. ... show more

Great fit. Doesn’t slide down during exercise. Changing color bands is easy if for some reason you want to change. I just changed from the blue that it came with to the yellow so it can be seem better.
