The unit no longer charges after the 3rd day of using it. Piece of junk with a magnet now. There is no light on the LED at the top and I know my charge port works because other chargers work on it. I was already not Liking it because the power cable is attached to the base and uses a barrel jack so you are forced to use their car charger. If it was universal usb or usb-c then that would make life easier. there car charger also sucks, its very thin and loose in my cars charging ports. all other chargers fit much better than this one. It holds the phone really secure, except for when I hit pretty big speed bumps and potholes. It makes grab-and-go of my phone very convenient. The main reason why I bought this product was because I was worried that the charger port on my new phone would wear out quickly with having to constantly unplug and replug my phone. This is just right to fit into my recharge device it got from Costco. It is different from the standard flat piece which is what helps it to Latch into the opening so it won’t fall off the device. It took a while for me to find it so I am going to order a backup to put in my glove box. Magnet is very weak and does not securely hold my iPhone with a thin protective case installed. Additionally, the product needs to be updated to have a USB A or C connector instead of the little proprietary bayonet-style plug.
