  • Great visibility but very loud
Color: White Size: Small
Pros: - Great visibility. Huge eye port - Modular - Flip down vison - Manageable weight. Wore it all day and only got uncomfortable towards the end of ~10 hours of riding Cons: - Not sure the vents do very much - Really loud, tons of wind noise. Helmet is somehow louder with the faceshield down. You need ear plugs at higher speeds - Drop down visor does not drop down far enough. Looks kind of goofy. It works but could go down another inch. - D-ring chin strap. I find the ratchet ones so much quicker and more convenient. I like the helmet. I had to stuff some foam under the liner to make it work for me, mainly because I was between the small and medium. It's not a perfect helmet but I like it more than my previous LS2 Metro V3. But the AT950 could definitely use a couple improvements ... show more

  • Amazing helmet that needs breaking-in period
Color: Matte Black Size: Medium
Just opened it and took it for a spin!! Here's a few quick notes, followed by details. 1 - the reviews about the cheek pads are accurate. They're very tight. 2 - very quiet helmet 3 - the peak is great for low speeds, not so great for high speeds. 4 - the drop down visor is great for tint, not so much at wind protection. 5 - interior wind channels are amazing at keeping your dome cool. 6 - modular switch is a pull lever instead of a push button. 7 - vent and visor interfaces are smooth and intuitive. 8 - all around great helmet for the price. Would definitely recommend. Details: The first thing I noticed when I put the helmet on was how tight the cheek pads were. After an hour long ride, my cheeks/jaw were a bit sore from how tight they were. However, all helmets need some form of break in period. Once I wear the helmet more, I imagine the helmet will conform to my features and become more comfortable with use. The helmet is much, much quieter than my last helmet. There's a slight whistle from the passage of air through the channels, but my bluetooth system is easy to hear even at..... over highway speeds. I had planned on removing the peak anyway, but wanted to see how it would feel. At low speeds, it channels tons of air into the top vent and keeps your head very stable. Once you get past 45mph, it starts catching the wind and whipping your head around. If you ride with a passenger, they will have an industrial blower on their helmet. The peak funnels air across the top vent and straight backwards. My passenger said they had a hard time keeping their head steady from the funneled air. With the peak removed, there was still plenty of airflow through the top vent at highway speeds, just a little less at low speeds. In addition, if you ride with the visor open or removed, the peak will cause extra gusts to curl in the sides and behind the drop down visor. As for the visor, i'm new to helmets with them, so i'm not sure if they're all like this, but it does not work so well for wind protection. It's obviously better than without, but even with the visor down, I still got plenty of wind around the back, which dried out my contacts after only a few minutes. The tint is great for reducing glare without being too dark. But if you like to ride with the visor up, it's no substitute for a good pair of sunglasses. The wind channels built into the helmet do a very good job of funneling air around your head and keeping the whole helmet comfortably cool. I really like that the modular switch is pull instead of push. In a crash, there's much less chance of the button getting hit and popping the top up. ... show more

  • Nice helmet, bit heavy (but these types are)... It comes with Clear visor, not smoke
Color: Matte Anthracite Size: Medium
WARNING: This helmet comes with clear visor, not the smoke in the pictures. This was an annoyance for me, because I wanted to make sure I had both, so I ordered an additional clear visor thinking the helmet came with the smoke shown in the pics and now I have to return the clear and buy the smoke. So be warned ;). Helmet seems great so far, it's a bit heavy but all these flip face helmets require a bit more hardware to work, so they tend to be a bit heavier, if that matters to you. With my Cardo Packtalk installed it's a tad over 4lbs. I got the Medium, and like others have reported the cheek pads are a bit thick and snug. I am pretty slim, and I find it easier to put the helmet on with the face shield up, then lower it, at which point it things get pretty tight. Hopefully they break in, or I might have to try the large cheek pad replacement others have suggested (supposedly the large cheek pads are thinner?) Can't speak to wind noise and venting yet (there are only two vents on the exterior, so curious if those are sufficient on a hot day?). The weather has kept me off bike, but will report back with some of those details once I have chance to really use it. ... show more

  • I love it. Comfy and safe.
Color: Anthracite Size: XX-Large
My first motorcycle helmet, but I did weeks of reading reviews to arrive here. After a few months of riding, I got no complaints. Would buy again.

  • Top air vent rattles in the wind when closed.
Color: Matte Black Size: Medium
Overall a very good, very comfortable helmet. The only real problem is the top vent rattles in the wind when it is closed. If left open, the cold air isn't all that bad, as the airflow isn't intense. Would be nice to be able to close the vent and not have the sounds of 30 million hamsters raging against my skull though. ... show more

  • Great fit for oval shaped heads.
Color: Matte Black Size: 3X-Large
Overall a really nice helmet. I have only 2 issues and both are likely not specific to this helmet brand or model. 1st, the pull down tinted visor and the clear main visor distort the user's vision a little, The tinted one is bad enough I don't use it unless I have to. 2nd, the wind noise is a bit high for a full face helmet. One reason I went full face is to be able to use a Bluetooth headset for music and coms. The wind noise makes both worthless at highway speeds. Still, I love the helmet and I feel that these issues are common to most helmets. ... show more

  • Squeezes Jawline
Color: Matte Anthracite Size: Large
I really wanted to keep this helmet and loved the features, but had to send back. Loved the flip up chinbar and flip down sun visor. I was between a medium and large on size. Since I wanted a motorcycle helmet to be snug, I went with the medium. When I tried it on, it was immediately too tight along the jawline. I sent the medium back and went with the large thinking this would fix the problem. Same issue with the large. Helmet fit and features were great, but immediately uncomfortable squeezing along the jawline. I am not overweight, don't have chubby cheeks and would say a "normal" face/head structure. I wore the helmet around the house a bit hoping it would "break-in" some, but still uncomfortable squeeze on the jawline. I thought about cutting out some padding along the jawline, but thought this was ridiculous to have to cut up a brand new helmet. Definitely designed for very skinny faces. ... show more
