This thing is comfortable and light. So far I have had zero fogging issues and i wear glasses. It comes with a removable under chin panel that keeps the wind out. It looks a bit chinsy but I have no issues so far. With gloves on it takes a few times before learning extactly where the visor tabs are so those could be just hair bigger in my opinion. The construction on full face section doesn't look like it would fair well in an impact situation but at least theres something there. Instructions for removing the 3/4 section could be just a bit clearer. Once you figure things out though removing the sections and then putting them back on is a breeze. Swapping the visor for a different one is also simple. All in all I'm happy with it!! ... show more

Used a couple times this week and so far I love the ability to take off the mask and sides which then makes it a half helmet. Nice riding today but it started to get a little cold so, I stopped and put the mask on to warm up my face. and block the wind. That's all it's for, not protection. For longer trips this gives me 3 in 1 access w/o bringing a second helmet. Harley Davidson has the same exact one called a Sport Glide 3-in-1 X07 but stopped selling it. The fit was surprisingly perfect for me, size Large. With the mask on though I feel like I'm looking "over" it and have to turn my head down farther......if that makes sense. I did my research and : Overall a well made helmet and happy with the purchase. I'll see how well it works with a Bluetooth in the future. Edit: The smoke shield broke at the connection point. The helmet is indeed very lightweight, which has its pros and cons. Primarily, on the "con" side, I'm a bit anxious about how much protection this helmet will give me in case of a crash. I know they say up front that the lower piece does nothing to protect you in case of a crash. It's more of a wind protection. Like others, I was kind of dumbfounded that the manufacturer was stupid enough to put a gooey sticker in the middle of the visor. Peeling off the sticker isn't the problem; it's managing to get off the goop so it's not in your field of vision. The visors aren't very high quality and so getting them streak-free so there are no spots in your field of vision is also a bit difficult. Finally, I'm not a fan of these D-ring chin straps. I always have to buy a 3rd party quick release ratchet chin strap and install it on any helmet I buy. Just charge me an extra $10 and put it on when you make the helmet to begin with. This is a half-helmet with decorative face shield add-ons. It is very light and doesn't feel real protective. The face shield is decorative at best offering no protection other than from bugs and wind. It is very loud, with wind noise being a big problem. At 60 mph the wind grabs the front edge and starts lifting it resulting in more neck fatigue as you counteract that. The eye shield doesn't lock down and is sometimes lifted by the wind. It's ok for around town riding but I don't like it for highway speeds. I'm not sure it's worth $300. ... show more

Fits exactly as I expected as this is not the first Scorpion helmet I've owned. Extremely comfortable and seems to be mostly good quality with a few exceptions. The tinted screen that is installed in the helmet is ok, doesn't lock down, but I knew that ahead of time, what was disappointing is the tinting. It appears to be a clear shield with tinting material applied like car tint. This wouldn't be a problem if it was done well but mine has a few bubbles and a bad area on the side. That said, none of the bubbles cause visibility issues and can only be seen upon close inspection. The removable chin bar is definitely going to take some getting used to. It works well enough but doesn't work the same as the original Covert based on the videos I've seen. Overall I'm happy with the purchase despite my few minor gripes. It has the look I wanted and fits perfectly which is probably the most important thing. Overall finish is great and the lining is soft against the skin. UPDATE: I'm an idiot... the bubbling was a result of the protective film on the outside of the shield. Tint is perfect! After using the helmet all summer I can absolutely say I love this lid! Very comfortable and looks fantastic. UPDATE 2: I've been using this helmet for almost a year now and it's held up remarkably well. The tinted visor is even good at night with no other eye protection. Slightly colder than a traditional full face especially on those early spring rides but thanks to covid (never thought I'd say that) a cloth mask underneath helps keep my face warm. If you're on the fence about this helmet, do yourself a favor and just do it. ... show more
