I bought this to hatch my eggs while also getting a good cardio workout! I’m 5’6 and this scooter was just the right size when I pulled the scooter handle out all the way. I’m sure anybody who is taller can use this too, BUT just a heads up the positioning of the handles might be too low for you. Also this scooter works out my legs really fast. My non-dominant leg that rests on the board gets so sore after a couple minutes because I have to lunge continuously to move the scooter forward. So I find myself hopping on my dominant leg shortly after to work out the other one. According to my Apple Watch, 30min of scootering helped me burn 200 calories. And it sure felt easier than going for a jog. Pokémon Go section: The fastest speed I recorded with this scooter was 6.5mph and that’s me really doing my absolute best. As long as I keep the Pokémon go app running and open during my ride, it recorded the distance for my eggs to hatch as well as my buddy Pokémon to collect candy. Even records distance when the phone is on battery saving mode and flipped upside down on my iPhone. I recommend using a poffin while scootering. Keep in mind scootering 1km is a lot more than you think, although it’s really fun with the scooter. I really enjoy this scooter.     • Top Choice of folding, shock-absorbing scooter for larger kid and adults
After many hours of research and comparison, I bought the SKIDEE X3M Foldable Scooter with 8 inch wheels and anti-shock for my tall son's 10th birthday gift. It fits him on both the lowest and second lowest (of 4) handlebar height settings. The Foldable Scooter has excellent handlebar grips, is well built, and folds and unfolds very well. We have rough (asphalt) sidewalks in our neighborhood, so the shock absorbers are a top priority. It's important to know that the scooter will sink down when you first step on it, so this takes some getting used to (especially if you've been riding a shockless scooter). However, once you're on the deck, it stays compressed and stable. Speaking of the deck, this scooter has a nice, large one that is 13 1/2" long by 5 3/8" wide. This is larger than most, and allows the rider to comfortably stand with both feet side by side when coasting. Also, the handlebar height adjustment range is excellent, allowing people to grow into this scooter (I'm 6', and it fit's me fine). The kickstand works well, too. The SKIDEE also has a great clamping system for the handlebars, the handlebar riser tube, and the folding hinge. After adjusting each of these clamps with the provided tool (making them pretty snug), there isn't any rattling. This stability is worth the slight increase in weight. I do recommend tightening all the fasteners before your first ride, and checking them periodically to see if any have become loose. The brake also appears thoughtfully designed. It is on the longer side, which covers the wheel better. It also includes a rear reflector. The scooter comes with a carry strap, and it has built-in loops to fasten this strap (rather than having to add on separate strap holders). SKIDEE offers a free scooter carry bag (offer information inside the box) if you send them a picture of someone riding the scooter posted on social media. too. The one possible drawback to the scooter's design is the handlebars are narrow, at 15 1/2" (many competitors are ~17"). This reduces the leverage a rider has turning the scooter, but it's not a deal-breaker. Overall, the build quality looks very good. The edges of some of the metal could be a wee bit more polished, yet this isn't a high-end bike so I wasn't expecting perfection. The reason I rated this scooter 4 stars (instead of 5) is because there are a few scratches on the black paint that shouldn't be there. The packaging appears to be designed to prevent this, yet somewhere in the process the scooter got scratched. It will be easy enough to touch it up, but it should have been pristine out of the box. Overall, I recommend the SKIDEE Foldable Scooter with 8 inch wheels and Anti-Shock Suspension. It offers the best balance of quality, adjustability, features and sizing for our needs that I could find. Finally, their website is the most useful of the manufactures and includes direct links to purchase spare parts when the time for that comes. ... show more

I weigh 180lbs, probably 185lbs and this thing feels sturdy and rolls super smooth. I bought it because I started college and the campus is quite large and this scooter makes getting around fast and fun. Honestly love just scooting around campus. Feel like a kid again lol

I don’t think this scooter with hold you long, the tires ware quickly, and doesn’t have quality parts ( one of the connectors already broke after 1 day) but it still works the same with some noise now. Other than that the handles are nice and I like the height adjustment and price.

This has been an awesome experience so far. I received my scooter in a timely fashion. Setup was easy. My only major comment is make sure you tighten handle bar portion with allen wrench. I didn’t think I needed too until I tried to scoot real fast and nuts and bolts started to fall off. I believe this is completely user error. I should have did a double safety check before scooting! Adults give it a try, the suspension is nice! I'm going on 41 years old and my joints and bones are thankful. I'm a curvy woman and this scooter still allows me to scoot faster than my 5 and 7 year old! Beware though, younger children will want your scooter! No Regrets!!! ... show more
