  • Be Prepared for Assembly
This schwinn wagon is a very sturdy built wagon compared to the others out there. I compared it with a lot of garden wagons from hardware stores. The metal tub is heavier gage metal. I can actually step in this one and have little to no flex. Other wagons would flex like a soft drink can. I do have one complaint during assembly. Be prepared to need extra hardware. Two wheels were different than the other two. They are almost the same but the spacing on the hub was off. So I had to improvise. I am very handy and have spare washers and pins. For those out there that don't find a friend to help assemble. I will have to visit a hardware store and spend another couple bucks to put this wagon together properly. I would be very dissapointed if the quality of the wagon was poor. The wagon is very strong and will last several generations. Schwinn just needed to be more thorough with their hardware. Maybe I just got the last box friday at 5 from the manufacturer..Who knows. Great wagon just be prepared with spare hardware when you assemble it. I would buy again. ... show more

  • All wheel steering is awesome!
This thing is amazing. I found it a bit challanging to assemble until I realized I did not have all of the parts. One trip to the hardware store for appropriate spacers and it went right together. (I did not want to wait for the right parts package to arrive.) With all wheel steering the center of the mass, weight, stays centered over the wheels too. It does not turn over when manuevering unlike typical wagons with a static rear axle. And this is very important when the cargo is an eighteen month old grandchild! And because of the wide inflated tires it does not get stuck in sand. Did I mention the incredible tight turning radius? Adds a whole bunch of fun to the ride! Not to mention the adjustable handle: no more bending over to pull it! I love it! ... show more

  • Tire leak in it. Bought for me Great Grandson
We bought this for our Great Grand son and one tire started leaking and going flat. Can we get a new tire? Thanks Shirley King How long until I hear from you. I have a little guy who misses his wagon. Why is it taken so long for your reply??

  • Schwinn Sent Damaged Goods - Zero Quality Control = They Just Dont Care!
The wooden Schwinn sign along each side now comes already fixed to the wagon. When we took the wagon out of the box we could see the manufacturer had drilled the sign on too tightly and its cracked the sign almost in two. The split was razor sharp and dangerous, we had to take the sign off. It also arrived with paint chipped off the metal body. This new wagon which cost us AUD$400 with shipping out of the box looks like a second hand piece of junk. (it was double box packed and the box shows no signs of damage) Also the spacers are too narrow for the rear wheels, there is massive play and so when you pull the wagon it rattles horribly. I would strongly recommend people Not Buy this or dont have high expectations. The quality control for this company on this product is appalling. I do feel ripped off on this purchase. I am ashamed for the person who actually screwed the sign on, cracked it and then put it in the box for a child to receive and in our case as a birthday gift. Now we are trying to track down the manufacturers contact details hoping to get a replacement. Will post update on how that goes. ... show more

  • A wagon with all-wheel steering is good and bad
A wagon with all-wheel steering is good and bad. If you want to pull your kids around in crowds and buildings then the ability to turn on a dime is great. If you are just doing stuff outside then it is probably better to get one with just front steering. Sometimes you'll get a rear tire up against a rock or some sort of bump and rather than the wagon go forward, the rear axle just twists. The steering is pretty twitchy at speed. Better to keep this wagon on sidewalks and somewhat smooth paths. The axle pivots can loosen up over time. There is plastic between the axle frame and the wagon body to prevent metal-to-metal contact. I think the body has deformed a little over time to also cause things to loosen up. Not a huge deal yet for my wagon - just something to watch. I think the steering and axles make some racket when going down bumpy dirt roads and such. I could bolt the rear axle in solid but haven't been motivated enough to do so. One of the worst things is the tires and wheels are junk. Oh yeah, the tubes are the worst. These tires are the Chinese plastic-rubber ones that smell up your garage and house. Can't get any worse other than one of the inner tubes would not hold air for more than a few days. I filled the tube a few times then tossed the wheels and tires. I installed some American made aluminum kart wheels with ball bearings along with smooth rubber tires. Garden tractor tires will work. I did have to resort to tire bead sealant though to get all the tires to reliably hold air. I didn't know there was such a thing as bead sealant until this particular project. I threaded the axle ends and installed ny-lock nuts. For just being a kid's wagon, I didn't see the need to drill the axle ends for cotter pins. The wagon is a good size for pulling to kids - another good feature. The telescoping handle is also nice. I'd have to shop around some more before buying another Schwinn wagon. Again, this one maneuvers great through crowds and around obstacles. I'd pay more money to get a higher quality wagon since you can get so much use out of these with young kids. ... show more

  • Wonderful red wagon
This is a wonderful, classic red wagon. A different brand than first comes to mind, but I find I'm liking it better! The 4x4 steering has it turning in neat, small circles. A really good thing when letting the kids use in indoors after getting it for Christmas. The ONLY thing I wish was different would be an option for bigger sides. But really, this wagon is already deeper than the standard, so it doesn't matter. I don't worry about my 2 year old falling out as long as she is sitting down. ... show more
