Wow! Super impressed with the quality of this inexpensive monitor. This is the second Sceptre I have bought. Bare bones monitor in that no Android or Google OS and does not have a remote but not necessary for my application. You can control items such as contrast , brightness and other options with DDC/CI (Display Data Channel / Command Interface) software in windows. Very under powered sound (40db-50db max) but the quality of sound is good. Needed to get a soundbar. Easy to setup. Great picture. Excellent color, brightness and contrast. Have used for gaming and can verify the 144Hz rating. Would buy again and definitely recommend. If it lasts a while it will be a great deal. ... show more

Honestly, wasn’t expecting it to be this good. I figured when I started it up that it would be broken considering the horrible packing job that was done. Monitor was just floating in a box four times the size with no packing or anything. The tape was there for decoration essentially. Anyways, it’s so thin and light I was really surprised it’s a really good monitor and for the price it’s great. Better than some monitors I’ve gotten for three times the price. It has basic monitor setting capabilities via the side buttons. Can we talk about the fact it has dedicated buttons and not just that weird stick a lot of companies are switching to? Loved this. It has basic customizable settings for gaming, movies, etc so nothing crazy. Played various games with it and no tracking or anything and THAT was the biggest shocker. It’s a real ips and not a va. I know that shouldn’t be a surprise but you’d be shocked how often some sellers on Amazon do the switch up. One complaint is the fact the company shipped it with a display cable and not an hdmi. Everything is hdmi now. I dont have a port for anything other than an hdmi and if you use an adapter, there’ goes the whole quality standard and reason for using the display cable in the first place. So I had to go out to find an hdmi to even just test the screen which was more of a hassle than I wanted. The cable it came with is going in a drawer to be forgotten forever. Oh and it has built in speakers. They aren’t the best but considering, I was impressed with how big of a performer it is. My last note is the c type port in the monitor is so close to the edge that it’s very hard to find a cable that is thin enough to connect. Picture is included for reference. A lot of the cables I get are chinky c types for durability reasons and none of then were thin enough to connect. Lovely monitor. Easy to setup, durable steel stand, type c support my mini Mac. No dead pixel (which I kind of concerned before buying). Brighter than my 1080 24 inch hp, much brighter than my old dell, which I got 2 years ago. Never use monitor built in speaker so didn't test that. Text on 2k is clear than 1080 but definitely can still see blur when get very close. ... show more

It’s pretty good! It beats the AOC monitor I have by a mile, display wise anyway. I never realised how dark my AOC monitor was until I got this one. Set up was pretty easy and it’s super responsive. Only issue is the built in speakers, they kind of suck. I tried to take a video of it hopefully it’s heard besides all the background noise. If you’re just looking for a monitor that has great display quality and nothing else, this is it. The only con is that there’s a blue blinking light when you turn your computer off. It’s when it’s on standby or sleep mode as the manual said, it could get irritating at night so I just turn off the monitor with its off/on button. Good picture and color quality. Pretty high brightness. Haven't gotten any stability issues or flickering yet. Supports 144hz as advertised. The built in speakers are pretty terrible. The highlight of this monitor is the screen.

Honestly wasn’t expecting for this monitor to perform as well as it has, often more than not, when you buy a cheaper monitor you are going to see its glaring flaws plain as day but with this monitor I feel like the price is just perfect since it is genuinely a good monitor to have especially on a budget.
