  • Great Value
Pattern: Monitor
Bought this to be my main monitor on my PC gaming system along with my two other monitors. Easy to set up. Great display. High refresh and resolution when using Display Port cables. Now I want two more. I like the RGB lights on the back as they give off a little light when sitting in a dark room.

  • Great Monitors, Only one issue so far
Pattern: Monitor
Bought 3 of these monitors in Sept. 2021 for WFH office setup. Use daily for most of my work and supports multiple computers via the numerous outputs on the backs. Monitors are decent, but the sound is below quality (You're buying a monitor, not a tv so don't expect theater sound). Bought a second set of 3 for my wife in Jan. 2022 for her WFH setup. So we have 6 total. My only issue thus far has been that one of the monitors developed a lined flicker over HDMI. Yes I tested the cables and the host, neither of those is the issue. It started suddenly and won't go away. Now time to see if Sceptre honors their 3 year warranty. I kept the boxes and the receipts for all the units. Will post back here regarding the warranty experience. UPDATE: Heard back from warranty team - "These units only come with a one(1) year warranty, so your request cannot be processed." I swear that one of the reasons I bought these was that the amazon post showed a three (3) year warranty from the vendor. I don't purchase extended service plans as they generally aren't worth the paper they are printed on. I guess I'll tear into the unit and fix the issue myself, since the vendor denies the warranty period. Amazon is also no longer showing the warranty information, but is pointing to the vendor. Wishing I had taken a screenshot now...... ... show more

  • Great Value
Pattern: Monitor
It was difficult to find monitor with a higher refresh rate that has two display ports in addition to two HDMI ports. This allows my wife to use the same monitor for gaming and her WFH setup. My first flat screen monitor was a Sceptre in 2008. It was exciting making the transition from a CRT. The desk space I saved!!! Anyways, about a year in, the panel kicked the bucket. I emailed Sceptre and got an RMA number, was given instructions about how to ship it to them. Not long after, I received a brand new panel. That one lasted me for years until I started working out of school. My first dual screen monitor setup was with another Sceptre. That one lasted another 8 years or so before I gave it to a friend. I was worried about quality and customer service about this unknown name at the time. Well I have to say, they got my respect after all that. I decided to give this monitor a shot for my wife's main screen and I'm really impressed. The Ui is much better than on my $800 Samsung. The colors look great and the screen is bright. Buttery smooth at 165hz. I can safely say that Sceptre is still doing well after all these years. I even see them at Costco these days, so they must be doing it right still. ... show more

  • Great monitor for the price
Pattern: Monitor
Loving the size of the monitor. Graphics look great and after having it for a year it’s held up well. Btw you can only get the full 144hz if you use a special plug for pc. it only does 120hz for consoles, but I can’t seem to get that working on my Xbox series x. The lights on the back are super cool but sadly they turn off when the monitor is not in use. One defect I noticed is that a small area of my screen has defective pixels. It’s about a 1 inch oval that shows blue whenever my screen is black. It’s not very noticeable and I can’t tell when running a game with colors. It really only appears when I’m watching a dark movie but it’s not that big a deal, probably just a defect that’s only applicable to mine. Great monitor tho would buy again ... show more

  • fantastic budget monitor
Pattern: Monitor
colors, sharpness, and refresh rate are equal to that of much more expensive monitors. only downside is the integrated speakers seriously suck and the monitor menu isn't good, but i almost never use either of these functions, so the monitor is perfect for me

  • 5 Stars with a caveat
Pattern: Monitor
This Monitor is solid, which is good, because the condition the box arrived in, was horrendous. At points during unpacking, I wasn't sure I should even continue. The packaging had been opened and not well retaped on the outside, the box itself had taken at least two hard corners. The film on the monitor itself showed weird rippling and two separate divots. But then I got past that, got all the parts out and put it together. The stand is metal and sturdy. It is easily put together and the vesa mount portion of the stand is a double clip that is sturdy and doesn't give when tugged. The pull tab should make it easier to switch to a VESA in the future. The monitor itself is very bright, the colors are solid, it came with no dead pixels I can see (and I looked). It included all the needed tools and cables. No problems so far on any of the settings. Freesync is enabled and works well unlike my previous experience in competitor VA models. I was pleasantly surprised that it took 10bit color which I didn't remember advertised. First impressions after the unboxing are fantastic and I look forward to gaming on it more in the future. ... show more
