  • Wonderful screen for the price. Good value.
Style: 27" 4K 70Hz
Wonderful screen for the price. I have been using the Sceptre U275W-UPT monitor for a year now and it works very well with no issues. It has impressive quality and performance. The 3840 x 2160 resolution looks great with everything being sharp, colorful, and vibrant. I adjusted the display to 175% scale; to increase the text size (150% is recommended). Overall, I use it for everyday household purposes but imagine that it would be wonderful for business or gaming purposes as well. ... show more

  • You get a lot for the price!
Style: 27" 4K 70Hz
This is an excellent 4K monitor for the price! It works great, no issues. I use it for gaming and it provides a stunning image quality upgrade over my 1440P monitor. Detial is great, colors pop, and no issues with dead pixels. I've been using this monitor for a year now and have been very impressed. Just an FYI, this monitor is a 10bit 4K 60Hz monitor, and if you set it to 70Hz then it switches to 8bit. If you switch it to 75Hz then it reduces the resolution to 1440P. But more than acceptable for the price. ... show more

  • Good budget 4k monitor
Style: 27" 4K 70Hz
I'm not going to write a detailed technical essay on these like others have. I bought primarily for work so there's not really gaming and such on them. Works great for minitab and excel though since as a 4k monitor it's got the resolution to display MANY lines for data entry. When I found out my laptop only supports one monitor in 4k, I just swapped back to my old 1080p HP monitor for the vertical one and mounted the Sceptre on stand to use with my gaming laptop. All I play is pretty much WoW and it looks gorgeous. I came play games on the normal laptop screen anymore now that I've used this (yes I know I should not have wasted money buying a laptop, it is what it is). The only criticism I've got is on monitor #3 the DP input broke after about a year. It just stopped working. It was only ever used once, plugged in and never touched again as it was mounted on a triple vesa mount. If the HDMI ports had failed too I would have been getting a hold of Sceptre for warranty coverage, but as it is that wasn't worth the time since other inputs still work well. It's not a top end monitor, but compared to the others in its price point it's excellent. ... show more

  • My 27" Sceptre Monitor: The Upgrade I Didn't Know I Neededl
Style: 27" 4K 70Hz
was helping a friend with a project when her monitor nearly broke my soul. After just one hour of squinting at that dim, washed-out screen, I rushed home, fired up my 27-inch Sceptre 4K , and immediately started typing this review. This thing is outstanding. I sit in front of it 3–4 hours every single day, and I’d been taking that buttery-smooth, vibrant quality completely for granted. Crisp details, rich colors, zero eye strain — it just delivers day after day. Until I saw what my friend and neighbor are working with, I didn’t realize how spoiled I am. This monitor is the ultimate “you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone”… except in reverse. Out of sight? Definitely not out of mind. If you’re staring at a screen for hours, do yourself a favor and upgrade to this beast. You’ll thank yourself every single day. ... show more

  • Great at first, until it melted a hole in its bezel Great at first, until it melted a hole in its bezel
Style: 27" 4K 70Hz
The display worked beautifully for about 2 years. Then horizontal green lines gradually started appearing in the upper left corner of the screen. Ugly, but not unusable as the lines were a little difficult to see without a solid blue or red background behind them. A few months later, a thick black line suddenly appeared across the screen in the same area. A day later, a black circular area formed at the left end of that line. When I touched the bezel where the black area had formed, I received a mild burn on my finger. It was too hot to touch. Upon closer inspection, I discovered a small hole had melted into the bezel surrounded by a slight bulging, as seen in the picture. Sceptre has a dangerously bad problem with their electronics in this monitor. If you own one and lines start to form on it, watch out. Do not buy. ... show more

  • Impressive Quality for the Price
Style: 27" 4K 70Hz
After doing some detailed research, I decided to give Sceptre a shot—even though it’s not one of the big-name brands. And honestly, I’m glad I did. The image quality on this 27-inch 4K monitor is sharp and vibrant, with great color depth and clarity—perfect for both productivity and entertainment. The design is sleek and modern, and it definitely doesn’t look or feel like a budget monitor. Setup was super easy—literally plug and play. No fuss with drivers or complicated settings. If I had to point out one downside, it would be the refresh rate. It’s not the highest, so hardcore gamers might want something smoother. But for everyday use, creative work, streaming, or casual gaming, it performs more than well enough. Overall, this monitor exceeded my expectations and feels like a smart buy ... show more

  • Impressive 4K Monitor for the Price!
Style: 27" 4K 70Hz
I’ve been using the Sceptre U275W-UPT monitor for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed with the quality and performance it delivers at this price point. The 3840 x 2160 resolution looks fantastic everything is incredibly sharp and vibrant. Setup was quick and straightforward. With multiple input options including HDMI and DisplayPort, it fits perfectly into my multi-device setup running four computers. The built-in speakers are a nice bonus great for casual use when I don’t feel like wearing headphones. That said, I haven’t yet found a way to switch audio automatically when changing inputs between PCs, which would be a helpful addition. There are a few things to keep in mind. First, the monitor does not support Picture-in-Picture (PiP) or Picture-by-Picture (PbP) modes, which would be useful for multitasking across multiple sources. Second, if you plan to use a VGA to HDMI adapter to connect older devices, this monitor may not be compatible. I tested it with a known working adapter and was unable to get a signal. Additionally, the monitor is relatively thick, so be prepared for it to stick out a bit more than slimmer models, especially if you're mounting it. Overall, despite these minor limitations, this is a fantastic 4K monitor with excellent image quality, solid build, and useful features at a very reasonable price. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their workspace without spending a fortune. ... show more
