  • Great display. Great support.
Style: 32" IPS 4K
I am a Software Engineer and literally live in front on my monitors many hours per day -- at home and at work. I purchased a pair of these for my home office a few years ago and have been very happy with their crisp clear displays -- enough that I prefer working at home with these for anything detailed. The price was so reasonable that I half-way expected quality problems. To be honest, after almost four years the screen went blank. Their excellent technical support answered right away, and we determined that the power module was weak. They shipped a free replacement right away. I couldn't be much happier with their support; which is why I still give it five stars, despite the failed power module. ... show more

  • Incredible picture and quality for the price without wasted frills.
Style: 32" IPS 4K
Since HDR isn't really all that great without like 1000nits anyways, and I'm using this for my mac studio as a work screen, I don't care about gaming or refresh rate (though 70hz is nice). I expected less than what this monitor gives. The stand is very sturdy and has a smaller footprint than the LG Ultrafine 27UN850-W it replaces. Picture is brighter and clearer after some basic adjustments. Color is perfectly -fine- if you're not a designer, especially at this price point. I will never test the speakers. I'm using a thunderbolt to display port adapter and everything works great. I love that there's not a bunch of gimmicky random features no one ever uses that usually aren't very well implemented in the first place like my other monitors, so it feels like I'm simply paying for a solid, reliably 32" 4k monitor and that's what I got. Had it for a few days now and as for it's sturdiness, I accidentally let this slip out of the box as I was opening it and it fell onto my polished concrete floor about a foot and a half and had zero cracks or anything. I was worried but no dead pixels or anything at all. ... show more

  • Mixed Feelings on the SCEPTRE 32-inch IPS 4K UHD Monitor - Great Picture, Quality Control Issues
Style: 32" IPS 4K
Rating: ★★★☆☆ (3 out of 5 stars) Purchase Date: April 15, 2024 Upon unboxing my three SCEPTRE 32-inch IPS 4K UHD Monitors, I was immediately concerned due to the rough condition of the packaging. Thankfully, none of the monitors appeared physically damaged at first glance. However, my relief was short-lived after setting them up. Positives: The image quality of these monitors is nothing short of stunning. The resolution of 3840 x 2160 delivers crisp, vibrant visuals that are a pleasure to look at. When it comes to screen clarity and color accuracy, these monitors certainly set a high bar when compared to others in the market. They offer a great viewing experience whether for work or leisure. Negatives: Unfortunately, the quality control seems to be lacking. Out of the three monitors, two arrived with noticeable dead pixels. These are not just minor imperfections; there are black streaks across the screen that are quite distracting and make the affected areas of the screen functionally useless for detailed work or enjoying media. This issue significantly detracts from the otherwise excellent display quality. Given the mixed experience, I am currently in the process of requesting replacements for the defective units. The potential of these monitors is clear, but the frequency of quality checks might need improvement, perhaps reflecting the lower price point and manufacturing compromises. Overall, if you're considering this monitor, be prepared for the possibility of having to deal with returns due to quality issues. When they work as intended, they are absolutely amazing, but it seems a bit of a gamble at this point. Recommendation: Buyers should be aware of potential quality control issues and prepare for the possibility of needing to request replacements. However, when the monitors are free from defects, they are exceptional in performance and value. ... show more

Style: 32" IPS 4K
Full quick review, what you need to know... The nitty gritty on this monitor and other 32" computer Monitors. • Good picture, good price, power supply failure at 14 months
Style: 32" IPS 4K
The price we decent and I needed to match monitors, I had used other monitors in the past but color and contrast differences are annoying. About 2 months after the warranty expired the monitor/tv started failing. This not a backlight issue, the monitor flickers and then stays dark though it is not as dark as a monitor that is turned off (because the backlight is working). No menu graphics are displayed, so it is not a cable or sync issue. If I unplug the monitor and wait, about 1/10 times the monitor will flash and then strobe and the finally stabilize and work. I did look into the warranty and even if the warranty was within the 1 year period, I would need to ship it (my expense and they will not assume any liability if not in original box) and wait for the return, this is not something you can really do when you are using a monitor for your work computer. I work at home so I cannot just push this off to IT. I recognize that other manufacturer warranties are probably similar and this is probably not unique, but thought that I would post it here for others. I updated to 4 stars, the monitor was not failing, the power supply was. This was a difficult thing to diagnose as there was power, just not enough. ... show more

  • Excellent Monitor running 2.5+ years strong!
Style: 32" IPS 4K
I've had a pair of these monitors for nearly three years now - I use them almost daily for everything from documents to gaming. I'm not quite as dedicated as I used to be in my gaming intensity, but I have several titles that I run at full 4K resolution with the highest settings and the refresh rate keeps up without a hitch at 70Hz. The monitors themselves aren't anything too frilly - they have what you need and provide it through bright, clear picture. I see a few folks have posted issues with the longevity but as of writing this (June 2026) I've been utilizing these monitors for just short of three years. I haven't ever had any issues with connectivity to devices and I have utilized them in both PC and Apple products. The speakers aren't anything to write home about but they work in a pinch. ... show more

  • Nice Monitor for the Money, but with a Dead Pixel...
Style: 32" IPS 4K
The monitor itself is nice, the stand, while not height adjustable, really is robust and worked well. Picture quality is first rate...BUT, it has a dead pixel. I expect a new monitor to not have dead pixels. I have used many different bands over the years, Samsung, Dell, Viewsonic. Basically, the big boys of monitors, premium units. Never had a dead pixel. I have Dell monitors 10+ years old and no dead pixels in any of them. I decided to roll the dice with Sceptre. Unfortunately, it had a dead pixel right out of the box. I debated returning it and decided to just live with it, but it doesn't bode well for the future. IMHO, you get what you pay for and if you buy a bargain brand you get a bargain product. Not always the case but that seems to be the case here. I gave it three stars. I would probably not purchase this brand again, despite it having a lot of other positive attributes. At the end of the day, all the pixels have to work or you have failed in your mission to make a good monitor. ... show more

  • High performing monitor at amazing price
Style: 32" IPS 4K
I can't say enough good things about this monitor. Display looks amazing, and makes my macbook pro and video game system look great. No dead pixels at all. Speakers are weak, but that's to be expected. They work, but I planned on using external speakers. Headphone jack is provided for external speakers or headphones. Stand is surprisingly solid. Back of monitor lights up and cycles through colors (and you customize this or turn it off). Find out the best resolution options for your devices and buy the proper cables. For me, this is a large and high quality monitor for a great price. ... show more
