  • Very impressed, especially for under $150!
Been using it for a few days now. No dead pixels, brilliant color. Gaming is actually a night and day difference and I couldn't go back to my 75Hz monitor that is now sitting to the side for other things as it's way too noted in the difference. Watched a few movies on it, played a few games (Insurgency: Sandstorm, Warzone, RDR2) and I am very, VERY, pleased. The Amazon Deal came on today and I believe the 27" version is only $15 more than what I paid, but I've owned 34" monitors before and this is exactly what I need right now for where I'm at. Oh, and the 165Hz, right out of the box with supplied DP cord and I haven't needed to turn on the AMD Freesync option as I'm running a 1070 Ti SC card anyway, but I can assure you, this is FAST and no blurry movement or need for V-Sync at all. Fingers crossed that this thing is a 3-5 year keeper! Update - September 7th, 2022 = All I can say is, I went back and forth on wanting to buy this and put it off for a full month. I wish I hadn't waited. Gaming is AMAZING... all else (watching movies, surfing the net, etc.) just as awesome. DP wire that was supplied works perfect and this never had a problem losing sync @ 165Hz. No tears in gaming, settings at full screen and not having to enable vsync has been spectacular. HIGHLY recommend this monitor!!! PS - No dead pixels, YAY!!! ... show more

  • Amazing quality
The only issue I have is that the lcd is extremely delicate. Not much protection on the screen but it is very nice for gaming. Refresh rate is amazing at 165. No problems upon inspection besides lacking hdr or other software qualities. Highly recommend. I have two, one for me and I got the same for my brother and neither of us have had a problem since purchase. ... show more

  • Amazing
The media could not be loaded. Amazing product for the price, very easy to setup and after using for over a month I can say i’m in love with it. Not to mention the outside led lights that just add to my current setup (and any setup). Gorgeous and easy to customize in settings as well, with the 165HZ being all you need for a smooth stunning gaming experience. Highly considering buying a second one to complete my dream setup! ... show more

  • Decent gaming monitor
Yes, I am now just sending my review and yes I still own it. First off, a really nice monitor. For a long time I used a 60hrz monitor for gaming and never cared or realized that the screen quality can make a difference in your over all play performance. I now use my old monitor as secondary display for discord and anything else. The Sceptre brands have had a few bad ratings but I think they have come along and fixed issues and maybe improved. The 165hrz is real clean and clear. I have never experienced issues. The RGB lighting in the back is really cool. Nice glow but not overly bright. The monitor does come with a bracket for hanging but I am using the stand which is made of a good and heavy solid metal. There are rubber pads on the bottom so no scratching your desk. The only reason I gave the rating a four star is due to the speaker quality. Dull, lacks bass and presence. Sounds a bit scratchy. My old monitor has better sound quality. But then again you can always hook it up to some speakers or just use your $200 headset. Over all not bad for the money. ... show more

  • Awesome monitor, bad speakers
The monitor looks and works great! I love the tripod style base and the leds on the back give a nice glow on the wall behind the monitor, plays games with no tearing at 100+fps! Great for 1080p gaming! Speakers sound like built ins so you’ll definitely need to supplement for your build.
