Our Scatter Guards will make cleaning and maintaining your Ferret Nation or Critter Nation cage a breeze! Made of durable Coroplast (corrugated plastic) which is super easy to clean. They are placed on the outside of the cage on all four sides and secured with easy to install screws, washers and wing nuts. They do an amazing job at preventing poop, food, and other "stuff" from being kicked out of the cage and onto the floor. They are 5 inches tall and come in 6 cool colors (black, white, blue, red, green, yellow). What you'll get: Single - 5 scatter guard pieces and the hardware to cover all four sides of a one level cage. Double - 10 scatter guard pieces and the hardware to cover all four sides of a two level cage. Our Scatter Guards are game changers! So I have a ferret that refused to use the litter box and would in turn do her business in the corner. I was constantly finding waste on my floors and I got sick of it, it was gross. There were others on Amazon however they are slanted in the cage and take up floor room which is something I didn’t want. I found these and honestly, it’s genius. I love how it creates a “box” around the cage, keeping everything from litter to waste from falling to my floors. They’ve been SIGNIFICANTLY cleaner since installing these! Originally I only received enough hardware to install one level of my two level cage and I did get a piece that had little chew marks, likely from a cat or small animal. I contacted the shop, they replied same day & shipped out more hardware and a replacement piece so A+ customer service. I’m not sure if I’m using the hardware wrong but I still don’t have enough, washers specifically. My understanding is you use two per hole per piece and I still don’t have enough despite getting more from the owner. However, I love this design and definitely think it’s worth it if you have a stubborn ferret like mine OR your animals just kick stuff out of the cage and your floors are taking the hits. ... show more

I really like this as one of my ferrets tends to have accidents in the corner every now and then, and it would run down the side, and ruin my carpet. This was the perfect fix! However my only concern was that one piece was a little bit smaller than the other matching coordinated piece, and it left a small gap in the guard rail. Overall it’s a good product. May not be the best if your ferret likes to chew or claw as it is a cardboard material! ... show more
