I loved this piece. I bought two other more structured corsets along with this and this was the best. It was comfortable, which I appreciated. It fit me relatively well and I plan to use it over and over. The construction was fantastic and I don't see it falling apart anytime soon. It fit me well, although I might should have gone a size down. 5'7", 215lbs, 41in waist, 48in bust, I actually really like this little bodice. It's a bit short, but I have a tiny bit of a longer torso. There's not really a whole lot of cinching power here, but it's not boned and it's definitel more of a fashion item, so I can't really fault the item for that. First pic is put on and adjusted, 3rd pic is after a bit of movement, raising my arms above my head, and wiggling. I think my pictures speak for themselves - this corset is just what I needed! I'm rather short so I ordered the small size, I'm 5 feet, if that helps give perspective. I don't have much of a bust so I like how I could tie up the corset all the way - if you do have a chest then you know you'll have room! It's made of quality material and very solid craftsmanship as it's very durable as I pull on it to get out of it. Quality is good and I’m happy with the pattern! Unfortunately though this seems to run a little big, especially in the waist. I ordered a S, and my body measurements are 32” 26” 36” so I expected it to be big in the chest but fit in the waist, but even with the laces as tight as possible it was just a shapeless box. And this peasant wants to be snatched! I did a simple non-professional seam alteration where I took each side in one whole inch and that seems to have done the trick. I would love love love to be able to buy these in size XS and skip my DIY alteration! If your measurements are close to mine make sure you are willing to do some DIY action to get the intended fit. ... show more

The shoulders are a bit wide, as is the upper bust (being a 34 DD, that's actually surprising), but it's dang good for $30! I've put it through the washer, and let it hang dry, and it's still beautiful! Would definitely buy again.

I bought this for a ren fair to go over a dress. The pictures make it look more substantial than it is. There's no boning, and the material is very smooth and soft; there's no support like in a corset. I am 5'6, 40D and I bought the X-Large. I followed the size chart. It fits how I wanted it to fit - it gaps a little in the front because of my bust size, but I didn't want to cinch it tight like a corset. This is a cute idea but even following the sizing chart it was WAY off. I'm a regular size 22/2XXL but this would only fit if I weighted a 100lbs less (and had no chest)! I do not think China gets American standard sizes. Plus the quality was also lacking. It looks glued more than sewn. For the price it should be of much better quality.
