I have had varicose veins for a few years. I have been wearing the Copper compression socks, and they just weren't doing what they were supposed to do where compression is concerned. With the Copper compression socks my feet, ankles, and legs were swelling again. I knew that it was time for a change. I saw the SB Sox compression socks (20-30mmHg) and decided to give them a try. It has been years since I wore what I call true compression socks, so when I got these and put them on, they felt really tight. Once I got the compression socks on, they were snug like they were supposed to be. the length is a little long, and they want to fit into the crease at the back of my knees. I had to work with them for about 5 minutes to get the socks situated to where they were comfortable and not cutting into the back of my knees. At the end of the day my legs actually felt good. The socks had not fell down at all. The top of the socks hadn't cut into my legs like I was afraid that they were going to. The only con besides them being a little long is getting them over my heels when taking them off. The compression socks that I used to purchase from the doctor were above $70.00 a pair, and I had problems getting them over my heels when taking them off as well. If you are a woman and need a little more compression, and have time to work with them, they are good socks.

I'm satisfied with the quality, price and Amazon same day delivery for extra $3 bucks! I have vascular issues specifically in my feet, swelling, lots of spider veins, couple varicose.. and my vascular specialist doctor recommended the 20-30mmhg calf height compression stockings. This is my first experience with this brand and when I put them on, immediately I felt something positive! Like a hug for my legs :-) read the other reviews that mentioned buying a size up if you don't want them too tight. I read the size chart, I wear a size 8 shoe, my largest calf area measurement is 14" so I figured a "L" was what I needed and it is. It's not hard to slip on given the 20-30 mmhg, the foot size is maybe a 1/2 inch longer but I know I couldn't wear a M.... I'll wear a few days and see the ongoing benefits but at present, I would definitely re-order these. Black/grey heel basics....

I started wearing compression socks about a year ago to deal with edema below my knees. I've bounced around a few different types as I tend to use a few pairs at a time in rotation for full day wear, and then wash em when needed. Most typically lose their compressive ability inside of 3 months with that much usage, which is fine. What's not fine: losing compression early; being the wrong compression; all supposed to be the same size but instead they vary a lot. So, I stumble on to SB Sox and decided to give them a try. They weren't much more expensive, and reviews seemed pretty high. Whelp, ordered my first pair and was blown away--perfect length, just as advertised, and far more durable than any I'd used before. After a few days, I ordered a second pair to put into rotation, and it was the same size as the first! Yay, competency! Bonus points, was also the same compression strength I ordered. What they do well besides competency: wicking moisture, comfort, and fit. I buy grey 'cause I'm boring, but they have all sorts of wonderful colors and styles. Highly recommend if you need excellent compression stockings for any reason.

Never really thought about compression socks before my trip, but while preparing I've heard good things about compression socks in general. I bought a few pairs of these and did tons of walking averaging 20-25k steps. These really work! I felt like it gave me extra life on my legs. I like them a lot but I'm not sure how long they'll last. The webbing around the lower ankle seems to overstretch but so far so good.

For the money, this is a good quality product. It has the level of compression I expect without binding. You might find the sock a bit heavy for summer, but for fall and winter, they should be just fine. The socks have a thickness and feel you find on the more expensive regular socks. I'll see how they hold up over time. If they do, I'll likely get a few more pairs.

I wear size 11, with a 14 inch calf. Per instructions, I ordered a medium, but it was too small. I contacted sb Sox customer service, who sent a large size in 48 hrs, without have to return the medium size. Great customer support. The product seems well made, and the proper size fits well and is very comfortable, with good compression.

I purchased these compression socks because the bottom part of my leg is a little swollen between my ankle and calf. Probably has a lot to do with being overweight and also in part to standing all day at work. I have been wearing this brand of socks and it certainly does relieve all of the swelling. I would highly recommend these particular socks.

I am sitting in my recliner and it is five am in Montana. I checked my email and received a request to review these socks. I normally would have ignored the request and moved on. However, the socks are on my feet right now and they are a god send. I have non diabetic neuropathy in both feet which causes pain and tingling that is unbearable at times. These socks fix it almost immediately. I have other socks that are compression socks that cost much less, but nothing works like these socks for my problem. You can waste five years trying to figure it out or just buy them. You will really appreciate these socks if you have pain and tingling, almost immediate relief.
