This bottle is a little smaller than I imagined, though it does stretch out a tad when filled. I like that you can choose to drink either from the straw or by unscrewing the cap. (Take care when screwing on the cap. If you don't get it threaded just right, it will leak all over.) I had trouble figuring out how to remove the top to add ice. The only thing that works for me is to unscrew the cap, hook my finger inside and pull up. At first I thought the whole grey part came off, but no- just the middle of the grey part comes out. It is easy to roll up and stow when empty. I wish they'd included a small carabiner to hook it onto a backpack when full. I took off one star for needless plastic packaging it came in. A reusable water bottle is going to appeal to earth friendly consumers who, like me, will find all that plastic a pretty big turn off. ... show more

After washing and using just water my water tasted funny. I did try soaking it in water but still smell that taste. Also the top doesn't come off so difficult to wash it.

The silicone color on this bottle is really pleasing to the eye, and the fact that it has no plastic smell is a bonus. I filled it with boiled water and lemon for its first use just in case. It hasn't leaked so far. Plus, its lightweight design makes it super easy to carry around.

I bought this to take to events like cons or outings so that as I drink, I can condense my carrying load and this is lighter than metal or glass. The opening isn't big enough to put standard ice cubes from freezer trays in it which is a huge pain, if the mouth was the slightest bit wider it would be fine. Crushed ice or those slimmer oblong ones have no problem. I like to fill it with some ice and then I put a can of monster rehab in it. Those things are already packed with flavor so I figured it would overcome any potential taste pollution leftover after washing it a few times and leaving lemon water in it. But nope! Even to this day after using it quite a few times it STILL has a significant odd flavor that makes drinking anything from it gross. I've used it more out of necessity for convenience than wanting to choose it. I intend to replace this with a different product or just deal with the hassle of regular bottles. ... show more
