This is a nice starter kit for acrylic nails, giving you a little bit of everything to try out. I think that it’s a great kit for a great price for someone testing the waters and not fully committed. That said you definitely are getting budget items so I wouldn’t expect the quality, but definitely something to get you started.

Good - I like how large and all-encompassing this kit is. - The carving powders are very nice and pigmented. Despite the small size, I barely made a dent in them while playing around with them. - Saviland provided a huge pamphlet with instructions, pictures of the items in the kit and how to use them. Ok - I didn't really have any issues with the brushes. These brushes are more for placing one color on a nail. So I wish there was one smaller brush for detailed work especially because the acrylic carving powders were included in the kit. - The top coat is fine over flat designs but too thick to go over 3D designs. It gets rid of a lot of the details. Bad - Some of the items seem old. The nail glues seems to have leaked as evidenced by the white residue inside the plastic bag they were in. I also took off the label and saw that there was maybe some dried glue and no liquid inside. The nail adhesive tabs were yellowed. The adhesives on the bottoms of the finger stands were wrinkled and half of it wasn't even sticky anymore. - The gel polishes are quite streaky. I think it's a combination of the (maybe old?) formula and the brush bristles being too firm. I really couldn't get an even coat until the third layer. - The color gels don't have a very sticky inhibition layer so there were some issues with the gel not sticking to the previous layer and I got splotchy coverage in some areas. - The monomer is very strong. I was doing my nails in one room with the door closed and window open and my kid in the next room came over and told me that he could smell it. Remember to ventilate! - The acrylic powders are a little cloudy. And they didn't really combine well on the nail. I can see where I placed my beads. There are a lot of bubbles in both of them. I don't know if it's the powder themselves or the fact that I'm a noob. - I waited an hour for the acrylic powders to cure but when I filed them, they didn't really file well. It didn't feel wet but they were coming apart in plastic chunks that stuck together like it was still wet.
