I bought these shoes for hiking in Acadia National Park and Baxter State Park in Maine. They were comfortable right out of the box and didn't require much "breaking in" in order for me to wear them. They worked fine when conditions were dry. However, walking close to streams where the dirt isn't perfectly dry turned these into slippery, squeaky, annoying and dangerous shoes. I bought my daughter a pair of $25 kid shoes that were less slippery than these. I am not a clumsy hiker and this trip was not my first time on the trails, by FAR. I ended up sliding down a rock and falling where no one else in the group had trouble. By the second day of hiking, I wanted to wear my sandals instead because they felt safer. I chose these shoes because for some reason more expensive running shoes are literally the ugliest colors 😒. I really like them, they are a bit bulkier than what I was expecting, but that isn't an issue. They don't keep your feet that warm in the winter so definitely wear thick socks. I have 100% flat feet with zero arches so I ended up needing insoles but I knew this going in. Otherwise they are perfect :) they are just as good as the $120 Altras I used to own. ... show more

I bought my usual size and my foot was swimming in these. I always buy Saucony and have never had this problem. I even checked the inside size because I was sure they sent me the wrong size but nope. Seemed well made just didn't work for me. One other thing - the shoe hit my ankle bone which would have caused pain and blisters - this could be because the shoe was so big or it could be in the design - impossible to know. I returned these and got the Saucony Raptor Tr 2 - love those shoes - have had 4 pair now. I based my rating on the overall quality of the shoe. ... show more

I've had several different models of this same style, up to and including the TR14, but the TR15 is the narrowest model across the ball of the foot. The cushioning is good, though, and the arch support is in the right place (it's not in my TR14s). It's not a showstopper -- I wore them for a whole day, straight out of the box -- but I am secretly hoping that they stretch some over time. ... show more

Loved color. The width and length were perfect. I wear a size 10. I did add arch support insoles for more arch support. Otherwise this shoe isn’t great for high arches.

I don't require ankle support and I'm very picky about shoes but these were very comfortable. After wearing combat boots for years, my foot spread out and flirts with requiring a wide in some brands but not these. They also have the perfect amount of grip the prevent slides.
