Got hooked on Saucony Triumphs as a distance runner (30-mile Long Runs!) I don't do distance anymore, but still love the lightweight and ample springy cushion for commuting and some jogging.

I’m a podiatrist who, like my patients, also has to be careful to avoid plantar fasciitis and pain in the ball of my foot. It has enough arch in the shoe to comfortably support the plantar fascia without having to replace the liner with my custom orthotic. The ball of the foot has a slight “rocker-bottom” feel when walking to alleviate some of the pressure in that area when walking. It’s does a great job of supporting my foot & I definitely feel more cushion in the ball of the foot compared to Brooks, Hoka, or Asics (which are also great shoes). You should definitely try these! **I loved the Saucony Endorphin Shift 3 & was disappointed that series has been discontinued. The Triumph is similar*

I want to start off by saying I didn't buy these to run in. I need extra support due to foot, knee and back/hip alignment issues and I am a heavier woman. I am on my feet a moderate amount each day, but need support. I had bunion surgery on my left foot and 4 surgeries on my left ankle. I need bunion surgery on my right foot, so the toe box of my shoes has to be wide. On top of that, I have flat feet and underpronation (I walk on the outside of my feet). I did an online search for a shoe that would work for all of these conditions. The Saucony Triumph is what came up as 1 of the top 5 shoes. The toebox may he wider than a medium width shoe, but the upper takes away from the width because it is tight down against the sole. The upper is a stretchy material, but the sides feel tight and I can see the right foot bunion poking out really badly. I wish when manufacturers made a shoe with a wide toebox, they would leave vertical room for the person's foot! It's not like we all have pancake FLAT wide feet! Use a little extra of that material so it's not snug down tight. That's where we have the problem! Hopefully the material will relax before the bunion wears through. I'm confused on the arch support, because it doesn't feel like a lot and sits back closer to my heel. The arch support is 1 of the main things I searched for and the reviews said was really good in this shoe. The insole has a hump where the arch of the shoe is, but I'm just not convinced it's enough. The sole is thick, but I'm not sure it's giving any extra support to my arch. I do have orthodics, but want to try it without it. I may need to switch out though. Finally, my left heel was moving some, so I laced into the last hole to tighten the top around my ankle a little more and keep it from slipping on my heel. It feels more stable now and isn't moving. I tried to give as much info as I can, so someone like me with problem feet can have as much info as possible to decide before they buy these. I'll update my review after I've worn them a bit. Hopefully the reviews I read are right and I'll end up loving these. I always buy Saucony, but right now these are just EH.

Quality of shoe is good, need to put your own shoe insole for comfort not much cushion unable to stand on feet for 8-10 hours without my feet hurting poor stability

I would not recommend this shoe for runners, for walking only is fair. I run a lot of miles and today during a 10k I experienced hot spots and the shoe doesn’t not do well on wet surfaces. 👎🏻
