I tried Hokas at the insistence of my family but returned them not feeling the difference between them and any other shoe and just not wanting to walk around in clown shoes. 😁 went back to my tried and true Saucony but upgraded from Triumph 19 to 21 and really love the upgrade. I wore Saucony Grid Hurricanes for years (and 10 marathons), and after a break from running I was disappointed to read they were discontinued. I tried the Triumph based on a Wirecutter article, along with the Brooks Ghost. The shoe fit great right out of the box, and has the cushy sole of the Saucony, and feather light. I just wasn't sure about the oversized white sole (much more pronounced than in the pictures). I ended up going with the Brooks shoe, which was equally great right out of the box. . ... show more

I love these shoes! They have wonderful heel support and cushioning. They feel bouncy without being heavy. The grip on the bottom of the shoe is also really great. Could not recommend more!

I have never bought Saucony sneakers before but I loved the look of these…until I saw them in person. The white sole is very overpowering and looks exactly like literal styrofoam. Maybe that’s what they make sneakers out of now and maybe it’s not a bad thing but I just thought it looked ugly. They actually did feel great on my feet though. If they were half the price I would’ve kept them but I just didn’t want to spend this much money for styrofoam. ... show more

The other sole is made out of something that looks like storfoam. It is very bouncy and not stable to walk in. They said these were good for stability but they are not!! I will be returning these if I can! If you are unstable on your feet like I am from arthritis, don't buy these shoes with this new outer sole! ... show more
