First of all I have used Saucony (most specifically Peregrines) for years during my trail runs and races in Colorado and in the Alps. I LOVE Saucony brand. The traction is spot on and I have never ever slid and fell, even in mucky or snowy conditions. Yes, the uppers tend to wear thin with major use but for the breathability and the fact that they dry so quickly with any wet conditions is a big pay off for me. Also the fact that they are well below average price range for great trail shoes, I don't mind if I have to shell out more for another set. What I have gotten used to doing is buying 2-3 pairs and just rotating them on occasion to make them last longer. The rock plate protects my feet from sharp rocks, the heel cup fits snug without excessive rubbing, the laces snug the uppers without too much rub either. I buy an extra half size bigger than my normal shoe to allow for big descents that don't mash up my toes. The shoes are light and lightly padded at a 4mm drop. All that said, I haven't yet tried the 13s and am excited as I heard great improvements have been made to the next version. I have had knee surgery recently and found as I got back into running these hurt the balls of my feet a little. I blame my feet not the shoe as I haven't been on my feet as much as I used to. I ended up buying Saucony's Xodus Ultra (1 not 2) with a 6mm drop and a bit more cushion and I absolutely LOVE them. So if you are needing more cushion than the peregrines offer look to the xodus.

This is my go to company. My first pair from Shoe Carnival years ago hooked me. Including the backstory of the brand. Periodically shop Amazon for a pair, either older or newer style on sale. The mint green wouldn’t have been a choice if not for the sale. And, for fun. Usually the German Shepherd and me walk before dawn. Safe to say these will alert traffic someone’s crossing the street faster than a street light 😂 They look so lovely with boot cut jeans, too. As far as fitment go. 11 is my size. Wide is my go to. Plus, the VA makes custom inserts to help with my horrid flat feet and virtually no arch. These work well for my personal set up. Without the inserts or with there’s plenty of toe room for expansion if my feet swell during hikes. For me, this color is so impressive I’m set to stick with bright colors in the future, for fun. Rather than black and dark colors mix with black. Though, for hiking this helps hide so of the dirt and dust. The brown pair look able to handle ground grime. Though I’m happy with my bright light mint green for street walking. Plus, have another pair for travel and community garden use. Happy with this brand and shoe update. Especially the light weight material. More airy than my other pairs. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💯

I thought about sending these back because the color is different than what is pictured on the site. These sneakers are more of a fluorescent orange and not the bright yellow that is pictured on the site. However, I decided to wear them while taking the dogs for a walk to see how they feel and I like the fit and they are comfortable. So, these will be my casual, everyday sneaker and I will look for the bright yellow in another line of sneakers. I do suggest maybe changing the name to fluorescent orange and not what is listed.

These are great sneakers for running. They feel like they are hugging your foot and give you a little spring in your step. I like that the laces are a bit stretchy to give a tight but flexible fit. They also look super cute and are a terrific price. Very happy.

I love the color & style. They're pretty comfortable, but pinch at the heel just a bit. I think different socks will remedy that for me. I just wanted fun footwear around the office. No trail running for me.

the shoes themselves are wonderful and i love running in them but the laces are wonky don’t stay tied and are just weird fitting so i had to buy new laces separately.
