These shoes were purchased because my favorite Saucony Walker has been discontinued. They are quite stiff and take about 2 months of daily wear to break in. I use orthotics and removed the pads already in the shoe. There's plenty of room for thin, foam inserts. I like the washable surface, the reflective patch by the heel and the length of the tongue. Other styles of Saucony have a longer tongue which catches on the pant leg and protrudes in front of it. These don't do that, which is a plus. They come with flat 45 inch laces, that will stretch out over time.. For a more substantail lace, I bought a half oval lace in gray by a well known brand. The color isn't exact, but close enough. Very happy with the shoes, and hope they'll soften up even more with time.

I needed a sturdy sneaker for my plantar fasciatis and these really delivered! I usually wear a size 10W and they fit perfect. They appear very well made, not cheap. The only minor drawback is they are a little bit clunky looking, but certainly not a deal breaker, as they are quite comfortable.

The shoe seems well made. I didn't walk around in it because although I ordered my size as usual it was a tad small. I noticed that the shoe would be throwing my foot to the outside and I can't wear shoes that try to turn my foot outward. The real disappointing thing was that when I went to send it back they sent a label to be printed. Everything I had been returning for the past year sends a code to scan at ups with NO CHARGE. I didn't have ink to print it so I asked UPS and they let me an e-mail the label to them for $3.00 which is fine as I couldn't do it myself. Then they charge me for a box to return it in. The real kicker is I read the return policy to them that says it can be returned for any reason but the shipping fee will be deducted from your refund IF it is not their or amazons fault....so you will pay if it doesn"t fit or you just don't like it. I'm just going to skip Saucony shoes altogether.

I purchased these in a 9 1/2 Wide and am disappointed since I purchased them based on the reviews. I ordered them to wear when walking for exercise. First, they are very stiff. 2nd they have a very poor inner sole that allows you to feel the bumps and grooves of the outer sole when walking. They also do not have much arch support. I thought I'd give them a try and wore them a few times and would have returned them, but felt decided not to since I wore them a couple of times. I will need to get an insole to give me the comfort I should have had with this product. I will never purchase this brand again.

It was so awesome to find them on Amazon, and at the exact same price as I paid last year for a pair at Bootleggers. These have great support - they are a bit stiff and good for heel/arch issues - I loved my bouncing Hoka's but but heels are much happier in these. Been wearing them for a million years and they last a long time - fit great - and when I had to return a pair - wrong size ordered it was easy.
