I have had too many pairs of the trail runners to count. I'm not a runner, but an avid walker and these shoes are perfect for me. All shoes will fit all people differently, but for me, these are perfect. I'm in the process of losing weight and my feet have shrunk and I have found that I have gone down half a shoe size from an 8 1/2 to an 8 in this shoe. Unlike another pair of Saucony, these seem to stretch and give my foot more room to move that going down a half size I still have plenty of room. The other saucony, I got a size 8 and have had a lot of rubbing and they don't seem to fit as well. The trail runners have been my favorite and I should just stick with these. I love Amazon for shoes as they seem to have a lot to offer and they usually have my trail runners at a lesser price then other outlets. I'm not one of those that need the "latest" shoe available and I can go through a pair in 3-4 months, so the older models don't bother me. The shoes fit my foot which is a little wider than "average" but not enough that I need a wide shoe, and these accomodate that. There is no break in period needed, it is like stepping into little clouds, and I'm off and walking. ... show more

This pair of Saucony shoes has a mesh upper and a grippy sole, along with a memory foam insole that can be swapped out as needed. I am not a huge fan of mesh uppers, but these feel really nice and comfortable. I normally wear an 11 in Saucony, and am glad I decided to get the 11.5. I have been wearing Saucony shoes for 15 years, and sometimes I will get a pair that does not feel true to size (even if it's the same shoes). I have had that issue with other brands of shoes as well, so it is an unfortunate thing we all have to deal with nowadays. The nice thing is Amazon has an easy exchange program if you find the shoes do not quite fit the way you expected. I am happy with these shoes and definitely recommend them. ... show more
