I am usually a Asic wearer. I love the glove like fit and gel for my fore foot and heal, but lately Asics have been making their shoes too narrow. So I looked at reviews and saw this shoe for cushion and stability. I was concerned that it would feel to bulky and not have a glove like fit, like my Asics. I was pleasantly surprised at how the shoe felt glove like. I went on a 4 mile run and my feet, knees and legs felt stable and well custioned. I am not a speed running but run for time and distance, so this might not be good for a racer. ... show more

These are great shoes with a wide toe box and extra cushioning. Additionally you can take out the insole and use orthotics. Just a shame that twice I received women's shoes instead of men's.

This shoe is a blessing for me, especially because I have an exceptionally high instep. The instep is how high the top of your foot is from the ground, which is not the same as having a high arch. Shoes for high instep are hard to find. These are especially comfortable. The shoestring is long enough that you can keep it looser as needed for extra comfort. ... show more

Best running shoe ever! I have had this style for 10 years, and it has never failed me. The shoe is very neutral with a wide base, so if you want a fast-feeling shoe, I would not recommend it. However, if you have foot issues and just want a shoe to walk in, I highly recommend it. My pairs last me about 500 miles, so they are worth the price. They have good cushioning, but not too much so that you feel taller. ... show more

Within 6 months, I had two holes right above both big toes. Even though I always wear socks and do not run out exercise in these. When I contacted Saucony and submitted photos like they asked, they said they deemed that to be "normal wear and tear." After less than 6 months? If you want to purchase these, it's fine but just know that if you do any sort of walking in them, they won't let too long. Photo info.: I wore no socks in the photo to show the contrast between the color of my toes and the color of the material so that the people at Saucony could actually see the holes in the photos. ... show more
