Great for standing all day or walking, no break-in. They are comfortable right out of the box. The toe box has plenty of room for wide feet, but I ordered the wide width. These are better than the triumph style. I just wish they made more stylish colors for wide width.

As an over-pronator (feet tip in too much), these shoes have helped stabilize my arch and keep knee pain at bay. They are quite squishy and padded to walk in, which makes work shifts in these shoes more tolerable. The cost is too much in my opinion. They should be closer to $100, rather than $150. But since it's hard to find shoes that provide the right support, I pay the price. The fabric is stylish and cute, it hides stains pretty well. I wear a size 11 womens so my feet never feel cute and small, but these are a bit big feeling so that's a down side for me. The weight of the shoes is appropriate. The durability seems a little less quality than Asics or Brooks. I am noticing more signs of wear than in other brands. Would buy again but wish for a price drop. ... show more

I have flat feet and Saucony Echelon were recommended to me several years ago. I bought these Echelon 9s in the hopes that they would be as good as the Echelon 7s they replaced. I am very pleased. I caught a sale of a color I didn't think I would like but the discount was too good let it pass me by. I was pleasantly surprised. The black and white color is very aesthetically pleasing. I am very happy and had I seen them in a store, I think I would have favored that color. All around good experience. I highly recommend Saucony for comfort and durability in exercising. Bought a pair of Huka shoes, couldn’t wear them. Hurt my feet. The Saucomy shoes are great. Very comfortable, light weight and I really like them.

    • Great shoe, must get quite a bit wider than usually worn
I asked my physical therapist what brand of shoes she would recommend for my aching feet. She told my she wore Saucony because her husbands foot doctor had recommended them to him and he really liked them. She recommended the ones with the thickest soles. She recommended I buy wider than usual, so I bought a wide. It was not wide enough. I bought another pair, extra wide, and it fits like a regular shoe. They are super comfortable and I have lots of foot pain, but none while or right after wearing them. I highly recommend them for a try out, at least! ... show more

I thought these shoes were going to be comfortable from the get go. I have worn Saucony before and they are very comfortable, durable and worth the money.
