I got the trail shoes to replace my 12 year old running shoes by Saucony. The cohesion 1 shoes are still doing okay. They are just dirty and I wanted a cleaner look I call these trail shoes my dress tennies. The bottom is firmer to cover up rocks and roots so that is expected. Most running sneaker brands are making garbage these days. Outsoles with minimal or no rubber, uppers made from 100% fabric with some painted areas. This ensures that the shoes are not durable and have little support. These Saucony shoes are one of the few sneakers I could find that still had an upper with pleather for support and durability. The rubber on the outsole gives you great grip for trail running. It’s overall a good sneaker with moderate cushioning. Only con I found is that the heel is a little weak, so I use a shoehorn. I’ve been a lifelong ASICS guy. They do not make decent sneakers anymore. Thanks Saucony for continuing to make decent shoes while all your greedy competitors have crapped out. ... show more
