  • Great for flat trails with no rocks
Size: 11 Color: Black/Black
First off, these are extremely comfortable shoes. I bought thinking they would replace my old Solomons for trail running/hiking, I was wrong. The Saucony is a great shoe for flat trails or road running. I damn near broke my ankle trying to use them on rocky trails. I usually do 6-8 miles, I went back to the car at only 2 miles to avoid injury. They fit perfectly but the back of the shoe doesn't cradle your heel and it flexes easily allowing your heel to slide when stepping on rocks or steep trails. I'm keeping them because they are great for running the neighborhood but if you want them for trails or hiking, DO NOT get these. Go with a Solomon. ... show more

  • Best fitting/feeling shoes 6 years and counting. TR12 100% comfortable day 1.
Size: 11.5 Color: Grey/Orange
I've been wearing Saucony TR shoes daily for about 6 years. At this point I've owned at least one pair of TR7 through 12 except the TR11 (which I don't think looks too good). It started with seeing the black/orange TR7's in a store. They fit and felt great immediately and that is very rare for me. Also they looked really good for a running shoe. After that I was hooked and I now have a closet with extra TR8's 9's and 10's in it. IMO the best looking ones were the 7 and 8 and I hope they return to something similar and with the Orange/Black some day. One time I went out to quickly buy a pair of regular (not trail) running shoes so I wouldn't beat up my daily TR shoes. I purposely decided to just get another brand. I tried several on and they all felt very strange. Walking/Jogging around the store all of them were just off. I then grabbed a pair of Suacony running shoes (not sure what kind they were) and they instantly felt perfect and I picked those up. Cheaper than the other shoes I tried on too. It's rare I find shoes that feel good especially right away. A few weeks ago a pair of TR9's were wearing out so I pulled out another pair I had. They felt great at first but also needed the usual break in. A couple weeks later I decided to purchased a pair of TR12s on Amazon and put the TR9's back in the closet (for the future). I swapped over and the TR12s felt perfect immediately! This never happens with any shoe. I don't know what it is but they felt like they needed zero break in or adjustment even compared to the TR9's I had just put on. It couldn't have been better. Pros: Affordable. Comfortable. Universal (except on wet polished floors!). Very nice looking (for a running shoe). Newer versions last well. Cons : They can break down fast. Although I think the older ones were lower cost and broke faster. I think past the TR8 they seem to cost more and last much longer. It's hard to tell. But most of my break-down experiences were in the first couple years. In fact the very first pair I bought (like only 40 bucks!) my pinky toes blew out the sides! It was really bad and happened far too early (easily half the time the shoes should have lasted) but the shoes were so good/cheap I stuck with it and have not had it that bad ever since. Now usually the first thing to happen is the heel plastic breaks through and grinds on your heel and it takes a while for that to happen. Also careful on wet polished floors. They slip like crazy, as I assume other shoes like this do. Hard to buy older versions and some of them look better to me. I highly recommend trying Saucony TR line of shoes. ... show more

  • Great shoe
Size: 14 Color: Blue | Black
I'm 6'3 269 lbs and not over weight by my standards. I walk 10 plus miles a day at work and so far these are the best footwear I'm worn in a very long time. This is my third pair and while I don't expect to get more that a few months out of each pair; that's fine for now. They fit well an you can feel how the comfort all day long. For the price point this is your best bet. ... show more

  • Good shoes for me
Size: 11 Color: Black/Black
Usually wear 10.5-11 and 11 in these fits me well. Really cushiony which has helped my feet a lot. Used them to do the Grand Canyon r2r2r and then bought another pair to do my first marathon in. Used to just wear shoes until they fell apart but have realized recently how much better my feet and knees feel when I replace shoes more often. These work well for me and don’t break the bank. ... show more

  • Quality still disappointing
Size: 11.5 Color: Grey/Orange
Bought my second Saucony sneakers. Wore a few times not even on trail. Thread came out. My first Saucony branded trail sneakers lasted one and a half season, lightly used, not even a full year. They keep increasing price like it's a premium brand, but quality is bad as usual. Ordered similar but $20 cheaper Asics. Much better quality. I've worn same model for years and they still look good after machine washing and air drying, so i bought the new pair anyway while they are still available. Unrelated to quality when i received these they were brand new but there were several dog or cat hairs in each. Will give these another try. Look good, good fit, same garbage quality for the replacement pair. Threads came out after worn a few times. I won't touch this brand again. Waste of time. ... show more
