I just finished 200 miles on my first pair, so I'm writing a review on my second as I take them out of the box. If you are someone who needs some stability (either the bottom of your foot or your knee hurts after a run) you have limited options in terms of good looking, fast, and comfortable shoes. You can usually get 2 of those, but not all three. This is a PERFECT stability option for folks running 7-10 min miles at any distance. The foam has give and bounce but it's not too squishy, and the lightweight shoe is breathable and comfy. This will be a rotational main stay moving forward.

I have tried several stability running shoes in the last two years. Asics fell apart on the tread almost immediately. Brooks had the whole front rubber wear right off in no time. Time will tell if Saucony will hold up, but the fit and feel are much better than the others. The shoes feels lightweight, but substantial enough for great support. I got size 11 wide, which are amazingly comfortable and same sizing I would get in the other brands. There wasn't a big selection of colors in that size, but I like the Alloy much better than I thought. Will update on durability.

My wife & I have been running for quite a long time and we've tried a lot of shoe brands. I am particularly satisfied with Saucony Guide line and this is the first time I tried Tempus and wow! It feels like a Guide but more bouncy, and way lighter! Hope it is also well-built to last more than my average shoe use. Good job Saucony! 👍 Update: purchased my 2nd pair on June 2024 and picked up a 12.5 normal, and it still fits fine and still has enough wiggle room in thw toe box and since got it on sale, double hurray! 👍👏

I never heard of this brand until I ordered a pair by mistake. I was looking for Asics running shoes and I ordered a Saucony by mistake. I was in a hurry or I must be getting old! Anyway, long story short: when I got the first pair, I looked up the brand and I decided to check it out. After returning 2 pairs I hit the right size and my wife can't believe that I am back into running again. I have been doing 2-3 10k jogs/week for the last few weeks and I feel great for a grandpa. No inserts yet. I don't know how I managed without proper running shoes for so long but I am not looking back. I did buy 1 size larger than my foot size and I returned one pair for not being wide enough. I look forward putting lots of miles on these shoes and trying to keep up with the kids.

I wanted to keep these sooo bad. Quality shoe, great cushion plus stability and look great. Unfortunately, they run in the arch of my right foot a little too much considering I'll be in them 12 hours as a nurses. Had to return them, but aside from that they would have been the perfect shoe for me. :(

This is my 3rd pair of Tempuses- first pair got 500 miles -still cushioned and stable. This never happens; most of my shoes go 300. The PB cushioning is great, stability also as good as any other heavier shoes. The new Tempus will have minor changes so this is a steal!

Have had these shoes for only 3 weeks and already the coloring on the sole is flaking off. it was designed with a crackling design in green part of shoe, terrible design because where those design lines are just formed real cracks and all color is flaking off. shoe is pretty comfortable, but I have serious questions on quality if it cant last longer than 3 weeks!

This is actually my 3rd pair of Saucony Tempus and I’m impressed. The fit is great, not too narrow or wide and they’re very light for a support/guidance shoe. I’m 5’11” and about 200lbs and the majority of my running miles are between 9-10 minutes/mile and I run 20-30 miles weekly. This shoe does pretty well with all types of runs for me. The colorway on this pair is my favorite too, a deep burgundy with black accents. I’ll buy these again if they are still available when I need them. Otherwise I look forward to the Tempus2.
