  • Great Running sneakers for stability and recovery day
This is my first time trying Saucony. I am going to be honest with you, it's a pretty good sneaker for running. •Nice and clean appearance with different colours variety. •Specially for stability and recovery or easy or even long running days. I personally suggest that you can try it and see how's the performance on your feet, it depends on comfortability, versatility and results on every type of runner. •The drop is nice, 8mm so it feels really comfortable, • I personally don't like it for race day because it doesn't get momentum when you transition from 5-7 min/km to 3 or 4 min/km like other race sneakers. •I have wide foot so its really versatile for its purpose. •It is super breathable and easy to dry. •The Support on the arch is really nice, I appreciated that from Saucony designs because I used to get hurt in the arch in narrow sneakers. Give it a try and choose yourself! See you on the course 💪🏽 ... show more

  • Comfortable and stable, daily.
I love these shoes. 3 miles a day, walking or running for the past year. Yes, I need a new pair. These are the only pair of shoes I’ve ever got complements on from random young people.

  • The last running shoe you will ever need
Overall this is the running shoe I recommend to everyone. I have been running in the Saucony Guide for 13 years. Pros: -This shoe has the perfect amount of stability. It's not a maximal shoe but it's not a minimal shoe. It will do great on 3 mile runs and 5ks but it also won't let you down for marathon training or on race day. -It can be everything you need it to be, from a quick racer to a long run hero. -Always lasts with great cushion well over 400 miles. I've never had any part of the shoe give out before I feel like I need a new pair to get fresh cushion. -The pricepoints you can find on amazon are unbeatable. -There are so many great styles and colors, I can always find fun ones that I love -I think this is the perfect all around shoe for the seasoned runner who is running for any purpose or any distance. If you are brand new to running you might try the companion shoe, the Saucony Ride, which has a little less cushion and will serve you great on shorter runs. But I don't think there's anything the Ride can do that the guide can't. -You won't regret buying this shoe. Cons: -Lets moisture in if you are out in the elements. ... show more

  • Fits well, soles are a little soft
Good shoes. The soles are of a “softer” rubber, so better for usage on a track. I wore them to work out/cardio on the road, and the tread was reduced quickly, but it’s a great shoe.

  • Perfect stability running shoe
I tried out a bunch of shoes for running moderate distances of 3-5 miles. I ended up settling on the Kayano 30. The Saucony Guide 16 and Mizuno Wave Inspire 19 were both in a very close second. I tried all of the shoes in a 11.5 wide. Gel Kayano 30: Best overall for a person with a wide and flat foot, who wants support and maximum cushion for long runs. This is the perfect shoe in that respect. -350 grams -Softness: 5/5 -Support/Guide: 4/5 -Smoothness of heel to toe ride: 5/5 -Width: Wide Brooks Glycerin GTS 20: Best overall for a person with wide and flat foot, who wants a firm and nimble feeling ride and support. This is the perfect shoe in that respect. -350 grams -Softness: 1/5 -Support/Guide: 3/5 -Smoothness of heel to toe ride: 5/5 -Width: Wide Saucony Guide 16: Best overall for a person with a wider foot, who wants a medium level of cushioning and support. This is the perfect shoe in that respect. -350 grams -Softness: 3/5 -Support/Guide: 5/5 -Smoothness of heel to toe ride: 4/5 -Width: Wide Mizuno Wave Inspire 19: Very good for a person with a wide and flat foot, who wants high cushioning for long runs. Very similar fit to the Saucony Guide 16, but with less support, slightly more cushioning, and a slightly less smooth heel to toe ride. Only real downside is that the cushioning is so soft that it "bottoms out" as if the foam isn't thick enough and you hit the harder base of the shoe under the cushioning. -343 grams -Softness: 4/5 -Support/Guide: 2/5 -Smoothness of heel to toe ride: 3/5 -Width: Wide New Balance Vongo V5: Best overall for a person with a more normal/narrow width foot who wants a little stability and soft cushioning. This is a slightly more narrow and slightly more soft version of the Saucony Guide 16. Similar to the Mizuno Wave except that it's more narrow and has a little more support. -320 grams -Softness: 4/5 -Support/Guide: 3/5 -Smoothness of heel to toe ride: 5/5 -Width: Normal/Narrow Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23: Best overall for a person with a more narrow/normal width foot who wants support and a firm and nimble feeling ride for shorter and faster runs. Not a light shoe though. Feels like a more narrow and slightly more firm version of the Glycerin GTS 20. -Softness: 1/5 -Support/Guide: 3/5 -Smoothness of heel to toe ride: 5/5 -Width: Normal/Narrow Saucony Tempus: Very light shoe. Fairly firm and feels a little stiff and clunky in the ride from heel to toe. No real advantage unless you just want a really light shoe. Questionable durability. 310 grams -Softness: 2/5 -Support/Guide: 3/5 -Smoothness of heel to toe ride: 2/5 -Width: Normal Saucony Omni 20: Similar to the Brooks Glycerin in that it's good for a person with a wide flat foot, who wants a more firm shoe with support. But the ride isn't as smooth and the shoe isn't nimble feeling and there's slightly less support. It is slightly softer than the Glycerin though. Very heavy for how firm it is. Would be a better walking shoe. -350 grams -Softness: 1.5/5 -Support/Guide: 2/5 -Smoothness of heel to toe ride: 5/5 -Width: Wide ... show more

  • Durable shoe
Size: 10 Color: Murk/Black
Purchased these Saucony shoes in October 2024 and run with them on a treadmill 15 miles a week and augment that with walking to get roughly 5 miles a day. I'm close to 700 miles on these shoes and they are no where near done. I under-pronate and heel wear generally renders my running shoes unwearable at the 500 mile mark. The comfort level of these is also outstanding. Combined with my OOFOS sandals, these have greatly reduced heel pain which enables more activity. I'm sold and hope I can find another identical pair when these are done. ... show more

  • Not for running errands
There is zero traction when it's wet, and has no water resistance. If it's raining or even just a small drizzle, your feet WILL get soaked- and no matter the surface, it's going to feel like an ice rink... I suggest if you get these to have them as just your gym shoes. They do have great foot support, and are snug to your feet not cutting circulation off. Good for jogging, decent for sprints, and they're comfortable for lifting. I wouldn't run the risk of getting only these as your everyday shoe. ... show more
