Edit: This is called a trail shoe, that may be the thing that it does least well. If you are on rocky surfaces (talus or screed especially) the sole is not nearly stiff enough. You feel every rock. It is still an excellent shoe which is fine for good trails or on flat surfaces. But, not well suited for rough trails. I have had other similar trail shoes which were much more comfortable on bad trails. I suspect Saucony uses the same last on all their size 9.5 shoes. They are a very predictable fit. The shoes are comfortable and they durable. Price is very good for a high quality shoe of a similar type. I have had at least 10 pairs of Saunconys and all have been good shoes at a reasonable price.

The media could not be loaded. For years upon years I was wearing the older version (TR12 I think?) of these shoes. I had bought them multiple times over and this year they changed them to the TR14. I was unsure at first but went ahead and bought a new pair as my old ones were starting to wear out. These are just as comfortable! I wear them every single day for going to work as well as for going out and about. These shoes are great for work because they match all of my outfits since they are a simple style and the gray color is perfect for any style. They are super lightweight making them great for daily wear. I'm pretty hard on my shoes and generally switch them out every 6 months. Then the old ones last another year as mowing shoes. These are still in great condition and it has been almost a year so very durable. I never untie my shoes so they are easy to slip on and off while still staying tight enough throughout the day. I wear them while working on houses and while grocery shopping. I've never had any issues with grip or traction. They would be great for trail running as well. Overall I love these shoes and I'll likely buy another pair once these go out.

Great shoes for trails. They're light, sturdy and comfortable to wear. The fit is precise, meaning, whatever your athletic shoes size that you're currently wearing will be what you need with these. The price was good given their quality. The one thing to mention is the inside pads should be changed out for better support. Otherwise, this rating would've been easily 5 out 5.

I really like this brand line of Saucony shoes. I had the tr13 that I bought in the Fall of 2019. About a year later, I thought that I would buy them again since they were wearing thin. I couldn't find any tr13 in size but I took a chance with the tr14 without being able to try on. Turns out to be basically the same shoe with a slightly different appearance design. Fits and feels the same. I don't notice any structural changes. I bought the black/charcoal color for both, this can only comment on this color. I really use these just for walking mainly on sidewalk. But I sometimes walk on dirt, sand, or grass. These have good traction on all types of surfaces. The weight feels like midweight thus not sure how good this would be for running on a track, but probably good for the trails. I have worn the tr14s now for a few weeks and have no problems to report. My tr13s lasted me for a year and I could have gotten a little bit more out of them. And I walk maybe 3-4 miles on average daily. Comfortable shoe whether walking or standing. Very durable and long lasting. High recommend. Maybe not the flashy looking shoe, but a good dependable shoe. This is my fourth pair of Saucony shoes that I have purchased Inna row firmly everyday use shoes. So far I have liked them all but the Excursion line is my favorite.

Great pair of sneakers! Bought these for my husband who is very active all day at work and around the house and works 2 jobs. His feet turn in substantially so he requires a firm, supportive shoe that can hold up to frequent wear and these sneakers he reports to be more comfortable than the previous Nike Airs he owned for just a few months. The blue/gray is a great color too! I hope this review is helpful.

I use trail runners as golf shoes, as they usually cost much less while providing good traction on the course. This pair fits comfortably and is correctly sized for my feet at size ten and a half. About the only negative is the length of the laces. I had to cut them back soon after getting the shoes to prevent the laces from flopping onto the ground. Other than that, a above average purchase.

I liked these shoes so much I bought a second pair. I walk about eight miles a day and these shoes fit well, wear well and offer good cushioning. Slightly wider in the toe which is nice as I’m getting older. I would recommend these shoes to walkers and runners looking for a comfortable long lasting running shoe.
