I suspect Saucony uses the same last on all their size 9.5 shoes. They are a very predictable fit. The shoes are comfortable and they durable. Price is very good for a high quality shoe of a similar type. I have had at least 10 pairs of Saunconys and all have been good shoes at a reasonable price.

Great shoes for trails. They're light, sturdy and comfortable to wear. The fit is precise, meaning, whatever your athletic shoes size that you're currently wearing will be what you need with these. The price was good given their quality. The one thing to mention is the inside pads should be changed out for better support. Otherwise, this rating would've been easily 5 out 5.

All of my other footwear is Timberland branded. I am very hard on footwear, and have huge feet. Unfortunately, Timberland doesn't cater much to people with a size14 foot these days, so I was forced to look elsewhere for distance walking footwear. Again, I am used to wearing Timberland hiking boots and shoes. These seem almost like I am wearing socks in comparison. The weird thing is, they feel flimsy, but I just went out for a 3 mile test drive, and my feet don't hurt. At all. Not even a little bit. My feet don't feel like they've been for a walk today. If they hold up to the terrifying ordeal that is being worn by my feet for a hundred miles or so, I think I will be looking to buy another pair.

I run about 40 miles a week in Sauconys on average, so when I wanted something for more of an off-pavement adventure it seemed like a natural choice to look at their line. I've worn them off an on for a few days and just wasn't happy with how they felt on my feet and the support. That's when I decided to pull out the insoles and trade them with another set. That made them into a great shoe. Be prepared to look in a similar direction.
