Can't go wrong with Saucony. These are well-cushioned but not mushy like some soft trainers. Fit true to size. I've worn them enough to have them in my rotation. I'm a quicker than average senior runner, fore-foot striker but would suggest these to anyone needing a good quality daily trainer.

I’ve got Haglund’s deformity — the classic “pump bump” (their term, not mine). I actually have it on both feet, but my right side is way worse. I’ve tried a bunch of shoes with softer heel counters hoping to make running a little less miserable. These trainers have been some of the best so far. They’re soft, maybe even too soft and floaty for certain runners, but they’re trainers — not race‑day shoes — so that’s kind of the point. I’m on my fourth pair now, so I clearly trust them enough to recommend to anyone dealing with similar heel issues. I usually get around 400 miles before they start feeling tired and ready to retire. I know some runners don’t love the bulky feel, and yeah, you can definitely feel the size. I catch myself scraping the front sole sometimes just because of how big the platform is. I really wish they could keep the same comfort without all the bulk. They work for me, and I hope they help others dealing with HD too. ... show more

I sized up 1/2 size and they fit my wider feet perfectly. They are a bit slappy sounding when walking but that quieted down as I picked up the pace. The shoes are comfortable and provide fine stability and support and seems too that the carbon plate assists the foot through the gait cycle and improves efficiency. These are so comfy to run in! I’m new to running and I mostly do trails, but I wanted something for the road. The fit is perfect and the arch support is great! I have high arches and I definitely felt the difference between these and my Altra trail runners! I typically buy Nike and I wear an 11 in Nike, so I went with an 11 in these and it’s perfect!
