  • The best shoe I own
Color: Ocean/Blk Size: 10
200 miles in What an amazing shoe! I bought these on a whim cause I needed some trail shoes and they were on sale for $65. I read the reviews at first and had some small concerns about the durability since several reviews said they were falling apart early on. So I just hit 200 miles and (other than the mud and dirt) these shoes are in GREAT condition. I'm not running gravel trails or grass or easy dirt paths, either. Most of my trail runs are on highly technical, rocky, rooty, nasty terrain. The grip is great! The lugs are still in pristine condition with no missing chunks or cracks or tears. The upper is in excellent condition as well and is still perfectly attached to the lower with no separation in the seams. The fit is right on for me. I normally wear a 10 or a 10.5, depending on brand. I got the 10s in these and they fit like a glove. One of my other concerns was some of the reviews mentioned it was easier to roll over at slower speeds. I HAVE found that to be the case. Nothing terrible but something to note. The carbon plate was something I was also interested in. I'd never had a shoe with the carbon plate in it. I'm not saying I was skeptical, but I really just wasn't sure I'd notice any difference. It's noticeable. I typically run on pavement in HOKAS (Clifton 9s) and shortly after purchasing the Endorphins I ran 6 miles on trails then switched shoes and ran another 4 on some pavement and the difference was stark. I love my HOKAS but they just felt dead compared to the springiness of the Endorphins. I get it, they are apples to oranges, with the HOKAS being a high cushion shoe, but I had a similar experience with some Brooks Adrenalines. The carbon plate does feel like it's launching you a bit when you push off. Overall, I would 100% recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a trail shoe. I bought another pair for my 16 year old son and he likes them as well. I will definitely grab another pair of these. Now if only I could find an equivalent road shoe to these I'd be set! ... show more

  • Fast and scary on the wrong trails
This is a very fast and lightweight trail racer. Great for non-technical trails but I would not recommend for very technical trails. I used these for a really technical trail race and they are fast but scary fast. They don’t provide enough support for rocky downhills. I came very close several times to rolling my ankle. I used them for a non-technical race a month ago and they were excellent. Good grip even over some mixed terrain. Rocks, roots etc but not extreme. Saucony has other choices for more rugged terrain. I use Peregrines for that. ... show more

  • MUST BUY!
Color: Black/Goldstruck Size: 12
I really love these shoes. As someone with a wide foot and low arch these are excellent for running on trails and pavement alike. The value is incredible. The are very durable and I personally have not had any issues with the foam or tread, both has endured long trail runs in went and dry conditions. I’m not sure what people mean when they say they sound strange on hard floor, that has not been my experience. ... show more

  • Great for bad backs.
Color: Black/Goldstruck Size: 12
I finished up work early with an achey back. These shoes had arrived. My back actually feels a bit better after the walk. It's going to take me a minute getting used to walking with all the cushion but well worth it. Great shoes. They even fit my wider feet well.

  • Excellent offering from...
Color: Black/Goldstruck Size: 12
Very comfortable for uneven terrain, it's main purpose so... having said that on pavement the better tread may catch if you have a lazy step.

  • Avoid at all costs
Color: Black/Goldstruck Size: 11
Absolutely terrible. Very poor traction if you are on a smooth surface. Even smooth concrete is an issue. Going into a tile bathroom feels like you're wearing skates. For outdoor, the tread is more than halfway worn after only two months. Also, the shoe feels very unstable. I constantly have to be mindful to not roll my ankle, so trail running with these is a no-go. ... show more

  • Fantastic running shoes
Color: Black/Goldstruck Size: 10.5
I see a lot of negative reviews and I don't understand. Maybe it's the newer designs. I've been a runner for decades. Five miles every morning. And I walk about an hour and a half in the evenings with my dogs. These shoes are fantastic. Near perfect in comfort, balance, impact protection. So much so that after I tried the first pair, I bought three more. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Rollin and slippin
Color: Ocean/Blk Size: 10.5
Pros: lightweight Cons: if you want to roll an ankle and/or slips on any surface that is a tad moist then buy this shoe. Compared to altras these are like ice skates on a wet surface
