  • The best pair of shoes for longer distance walk or hike in my collection of sneakers
Size: 8.5 Color: Black/White
The best pair of shoes for longer distance walk or hike in my collection of sneakers with great midsole cushioning that is more than adequate for most people. The Saucony Triumph 19 midsole reminds me of my Adidas boost midsole but more comfortable than the Adidas with the same bounciness and cushy feeling that is great for my bad knee when walking or hiking. If you squeeze the white midsole on this black upper of the Saucony shoes it have that spongy feel that's similar to the Adidas boost midsole and probably using a variation of ETPU instead of EVA midsoles which is more common in running and walking shoes. The Saucony Triumph 19 is a previous version of this line of shoes and retail for $150 on it release date but now on sales for under $60 depending on the color and size availability. I've preference for this version 19 being the heel stack height is 32.5 mm and the newer version heel 37 mm which a bit high for me and make feel unstable and a little off balance at time. I've compared this to my other sneakers such as my Adidas Pure Boost and Saucony Cohesion 13 and this is the offer the more comfortable and cushion ride for being active and less stress on my old joints. I've put about 50 miles of walking on concrete sidewalk and see little wear and tear on the rubber soles and I've good experience with durability of Saucony rubber soles and my older blue upper Saucony Cohesion 13 gray rubber soles is a good example with over 300 miles of walking and compared favorable with this better Saucony Triumph 19 black rubber sole in one of the attached images. Good quality comfortable with great cushioning shoes is probably one of the most important thing that we wear everyday and this pair of shoes is a great example. ... show more

  • My one pair of shoes for 2 wks in Italy
Size: 11 Color: Black/Gum
Our family packed light as we all used Osprey backpacks for our Italian adventure. Due to limited space, I decided I was going to only bring one pair of shoes for the entire journey. Enter the Saucony Triumph 19s. I own a pair of Triumph 18 that probably have between 500-1000 walking/jogging miles on them, so I knew that there would be a great chance that this Triumph 19 pair would help keep my feet comfortable. We did not officially track the numbers of miles we walked and number of stairs we went up, but estimated 5-10 miles per day, and many steps up/down Duomos around Italy. We also hiked trails between all villages in Cinque Terre. Thankfully, my feet felt great the entire trip just as I had hoped. These will likely become my new running shoes very soon at home as my pair of 18s are on their last legs. ... show more

  • Super comfortable runner for ever day use
Size: 9.5 Color: Sapphre/Vizired
This is a max cushion running shoe. They were super comfortable, but I found them to run a half size small. I returned them and got 1/2 size larger.

  • Comfortable shoes at a great price
Size: 12 Color: Black/White
I have been using Saucony Triumphs for several years. Got these at a great sale price on Amazon. I like the thicker shoelaces on the 19 series and they hold up a lot better than the Triumph 20's this pair is replacing.

  • Comfortable long distance
Size: 13 Color: Shadow/Topaz
Did my normal 3 mile run and feet felt so good and had it in me to do another 3. Time was bad but still felt good giving these a go. First time I spent a little more on a running shoe and I’m very happy about it.

  • Soft daily trainer
Size: 13 Color: Reverie
I've run in Brooks Ghosts for the past four years, but I wanted to dry a show with less of a drop and more cushioning. These fit the bill so I tried them out. I've not put a ton of miles on them yet, but they really are a soft ride. I had ankle reconstruction surgery about two years ago, so cushioning running impact is a big deal in minimizing swelling for me. I was easily able to put over 4 miles in these without any swelling or discomfort. I don't think I'll be setting any pace personal bests in these as they're not exactly responsive, but they are comfortable on the midfoot strike. They're pretty cool looking too. The only complaint I have is the footbed is rougher than my Ghosts creating a little more friction in the shoe. Granted, I'm running in the Houston, TX area, so for me to say the shoe gets hot is a little silly. In Houston, everything is hot year round. But the inside of this shoe does get pretty warm around mile 3. The upper is sufficiently ventilated. it's really the footbed creating that heat. If you're looking for a 5k daily trainer for mid-pace runs, this is a really nice shoe. If you're trying to win your next 10k, look for something more responsive. I also like the wide footbed. You don't have to worry about turning an ankle in these as the midfoot is pretty wide. ... show more

  • Supports running. Okay for walking/standing
Size: 12.5 Color: Black/White
These shoes are very comfortable when you choose the right size. For my husband they ran a little small and he needed to go half a size up. He wore them out all day and they worked well, but didn’t prevent his feet from hurting at the end of the day.

  • Very cushy
Size: 10 Color: Reflexion Black/White
I'm a 66 yr male, starting running again after a long hiatus and am currently training for a half marathon (now up to 10 mile long runs, about 25 miles a week). I need a very cushioned shoe to protect my feet and ankles. I rotate these in with my older Hoka Bondis and have no pain during or after runs. I also have a pair just for walking and they're immensely comfortable. I like the ample toe room. The mesh upper fabric helps in warm weather. I still prefer Bondis but these are a close second and the price is unbeatable. The footprint is more narrow than Bondis and they feel slightly lighter (I'm not sure they really are though). I went a little crazy and bought several pairs, given the very low price and high quality of the shoe. I don't regret it. The only nit is that the laces are a bit long and often drag and fray and I sometimes have to stop and adjust. ... show more
