the last pair I bought was the Saucony Excursion TR14. those took a few wearings before they felt comfortable. however, the Cohesion i just bought were comfortable from day one. i don't jog, but do walk a bit more and they are comfortable as seem to be holding up well. i haven't worn out the TR14 sneakers, but i just had to buy the Cohesion sneakers due to its price point. Saucony has great pricing! If you're looking for inexpensive and comfortable, these are the ones to buy.

I've been wearing Saucony athletic shoes for 44 years. I call them "athletic shoes" instead of "running shoes" because I aged out of running 10 years yet still consider myself an athelite because I exercise daily as I have since 1980, including an hour-long brisk walk every day in addition to weight training. I was always heavier than other long distance runners because I could maintain larger muscle mass despite running 60 miles per week. Consequently, I have always needed abundant cushioning as I do today. Saucony has been known consistently for superior cushioning, and these shoes provide the "walking on pillows" feel I've always gotten from Saucony shoes. That's what I look for when I order athletic shoes, and I feel safe ordering Sauconys on line because I can be confident I'll get superior cushoning without having to try them on in advance. This is a great pair of shoes if cushioning is your need.

I was disappointed with the Saucony Men's Cohesion 16 Sneakers. While they were comfortable initially, the sole started coming loose from the bottom after only a short period of use. This quality issue means I won’t be purchasing them again. If durability is a priority, you might want to look elsewhere.
