Bought these for my dad who walks 10mi a day and they only lasted 3mo. I have bought these once before for him and they lasted about a year. Not sure if the company changed something, but my dad walks the same distance and place. I’m bummed/disappointed since it was a gift. Got tired of Brooks and New Balance and switched to Saucony Cohesion a couple years ago. Unlike the other brands, these still have a harder rubber sole so I can get more miles. I only run 20-25 miles a week and I weigh 185, but I can easily get 6-8 months out of a pair of these. I'm lucky if Brooks will last 6 weeks. I've tried different versions of the Cohesions (10, 11, 13, etc.) and I haven't noticed any difference other than appearance. But regardless of version, no cramps, feet going to sleep, or shin-splints. AND, they're 1/3rd the price of some of the other name brands. These are definitely my go-to running shoe. ... show more

I like the shoe; however, I took the advice to buy half size up, but this was too big, so I gave them to my son who wears half size larger than I.

This is my first ever Saucony runner. It's the only brand of running shoe in my entre life in which I had to buy a Wide version to fit my feet. I'm 6'1", 175lbs, athletic, and have a very normal slender foot. I have a low to medium arch and the Cohesion 13 has a medium to high arch in my opinion and I feel the lump. After a slightly painful 2 week break in period, they are now fairly comfortable but nothing even close to my 2 year old Brooks Anthem 3 that I was replacing. The Brooks have held up incredibly well might I add. I've decided to buy the Brooks Ghost 14 for standing and walking all day at work and use these Sauconys for use at the gym. Saucony aren't bad, materials seem second rate but it's what I expected for under $40. Yes the Brooks Ghost 14 is $89 right now but Brooks are on a whole different level, like going from a Chevy Impala to an Audi A7....Not the same by any standard and you get what you pay for :) . I tried to save some money but then decided I'd rather spend more on shoes now and save my feet and back from very expensive doctor visits and surgery as I get older, plus Brooks comfort is exceptional. ... show more
