I got these shoes hoping they would not wear out as quick as other shoes I had purchased recently. For the price they've been very good and comfortable. The only negative is that the insoles are not very durable and wear out quickly and start sliding towards the heel making it uncomfortable. But if you put a different support in that will help a lot. I have purchased Saucony shoes, this pair if available, repeatedly over the last 10 years! They are comfortable, supportive, reasonably priced and are offered in all black and in my size of 14Wide! They arrived quickly and I like that they last awhile also, considering these are my one and only pair of shoes I wear daily! I hope I can keep getting them! ... show more

I am an 80 yr. old woman who wears a Size 12 Ladies shoe. However, my toes are always pinched, so after measuring my feet, I need a Size 12-1/2 shoe, which NO ONE MAKES. So I had to swich to buying a mens's size 11. After looking at Saucony shoes, I picked out a shoe that didn't look too much like a man's shoe, and it looked lightweight. I used to run in Saucony's many moons ago. I bought these for comfort, and a recommendation for Plantar Fasciitis. It was good advice. But be warned, if you have wider feet, this brand is not for you. I don't, so they're perfect.
