I spend a lot of time on the trail and treadmill and this shoe works well for both. Fit is comfortable and I have plenty of room for my toes to move around. I’m very happy with these shoes. They are my most comfortable ones. I like the wider toe area. I went out picking huckleberries in them this weekend on a pretty steep mountainside and they provided pretty good support too.

I love this pair I bought about over a month ago. I’ve gotten great use out of it as I walk 3-5miles almost everyday. The soles are sturdy and offer great support and protection. It is wide so it’s comfortable and provides proper movement and breathing room. True to size. Definitely recommend

I liked that this TR14 was available. I liked the fast shipping/minimal ordering hassle. I have been buying the various versions of Saucony Grid Excursions TR over the last 10 years. I bought the TR 16 last year-big disappointment. Hard ,flimsy padding ,no spring. So I went back to the TR 14 which has great firm, springy cushioning and a slightly better/wider fit than the TR16.     • Put the "real" hiking shoes I tried to shame

Preface: I'm in AZ so my reference is hot and dry. I ordered 2 Keen (I have their sandals & love them), two Columbia & the supposedly coveted Moab vent 2. I ordered these Saucony as a street shoe. They ended up being my everything shoe. Grippy, cool, light, toe protection right were I tend to pop my toe through and actually fit in my size. Keen was too heavy and way too wide with a hard footbed, unfortunately. The Columbias were close, but the toe cover didn't come back far enough on one & the non boot one was my size, felt great, but after wearing in my house for an hr the toe box was too narrow and my pinkies were in pain (I have normal to narrow feet). The Moabs were too short even after sizing up 2x. They didn't feel great either so I gave up. As usual Saucony rocks. I was able to do Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend & Lake Powell for a 6 days with no break-in and not a lick of pain being pulled by Dobermans over trails, sand and rock. Plus they're cute! ... show more
